Our room was cleaned everyday . Staff helpful. Beds comfortable. Room could do with a little tic bed frame and chair peeling also mould and floor coming away in bathroom.

I chose this hotel for trhe spa, but the first Sunday 21st september, it wasn't working and when I could finally go, I was told that from 5 Pm I had to pay while payment by hotel guests was not mentioned anywhere. But, all in all, I enjoyed my stay.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this I must say was the worst. I would have walked out but I was so tired from traveling. Food was basic and I’d say it was worse than uni food. I had 2 nights booked half board and we left after the 1st night. I asked for a refund but they could not offer that, but I will email the manager who was on holiday …… Booked a lovely hotel on the front for only a little more money which was lovely! The staff must face complaints all the time. The staff were lovely but the facilities and hotel needs a complete makeover. Our room was horrid and if it was my hotel I would feel ashamed of the state of the rooms. Beds you can feel the springs, chair and headboard peeling all over of the fake UPVC, very basic old cheep furniture. Dirty filthy curtains. This is more like a very cheap hostel for the homeless. I went to the spa which was deserted and was so old and fairly horrid I did not use it. Steam from no steam. I would say this hotel needs to close down. Please don’t waste your money. Perhaps the manager should stay in the room I had and I’m sure he would feel disgusted

Very quiet room and really comfortable. I just wanted a comfortable room to relax and recharge. I didn't use the pool or general amenities. Staff very friendly. I'd definitely stay again if in Monte Gordo

Great location, rooms are clean and spacious and staff are super friendly. The only 2x things I felt that were not great were the expensive parking fees 12€ per day and the breakfast could have more options ( fruit and pasteries).
