Perfect hotel in a dream destination
Loved the stay here! Beautiful hotel and staff, location is perfect for walking Grindelwald and surrounding areas. Had a balcony, stunning to see those mountains all day! Included breakfast was a nice touch, especially as Grindelwald restaurants are fairly pricey (even for Switzerland). Would return again for sure, and recommend to friends.

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel, good location and good breakfast. Staff very nice and friendly, specially Vera and Cristiano. We stayed in a corner room, with a large porch and great montain views. Nice spa, with montain views as well. The only thing we didn't like was the shower, with a handdouche and no curtins. The bathroom was all wet and the douche didn't stand still.

Old rooms with very little space to sleep or rest comfortably. The property seems a bit dated. Should update the furniture in the rooms and the size of the small beds. Overall, it is a 3 star hotel at best. With that said, the staff are extremely helpful and kind in planning excursions. It is right next to the FIRST gondola station for convenience. The bus station is nearby as well. Also, the breakfast is extremely well prepared and presented, making it a highlight of the mornings. Lastly, the pool and sauna are warm, clean, and a very relaxing way to end a long day.

Overall we had a great stay. Joel from the restaurant was extremely hospitable and really went over the top with exceptional service. In general, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is also located very close to the bus stop and to the Grindelwald First cable car. Things to improve: There was no A/C so windows have to be left open to let in air which led to a lot of bugs getting into the room. We would definitely recommend the installation of net screens. There was also many scuff marks on the walls and ceilings so a fresh coat of paint would provide a better aesthetic. The bath towels were on the smaller size and were rough. There was construction going on during our visit which woke us up earlier than we wanted.
