It’s very amazing when the water came up to the ladders of the huts. The service was very friendly.

Disappointing hotel
Other than the pool, the hotel promises much but delivers much less. The air-conditioning is controlled by a non-calibrated round knob, so hard to know the temperature while the air is eventually cooled, it remains uncomfortably humid. In our case it broke down completely and flooded our clothes. The WI-FI is not password protected and the signal is weak and works only intermittently. The lighting in the room is very poor, certainly not good enough to read by, and with the dark furniture feels gloomy at night. There are 4 hot-spring pools, unfortunately their temperatures are not modulated from warm to hot and most of the time all four are excruciatingly hot. The communication at the front desk is poor.

Great Old Fashioned Service.
The hotel is a bit older, but that means the service is traditional and top notch! Large pool and fitness room. The kids asked why the pool did not have a shallow end. But it was clean. The hot tubs were great. Breakfast was nice. The Evening Steak Buffet for 199 Baht was a good deal. And we had to leave early for the airport, they packed us breakfast, upon request. They did charge us for the drinking water in the fridge, it was not on the menu of items to be charged as I recalled.

Second one night stay of our holiday. Room not made up properly with no toiletries or bottled water that were in the room the first time. There was a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. No welcome drink which was mentioned in booking. Again noticed other customers received a welcome drink while we did not. Clearly a division based on race and therefore a case of racism by the staff. Breakfast was again included in our booking; however, this time they didn't make us pay for it twice. This time they decided to try to charge us for mini bar that we had not used. Rooms, particularly the bathrooms are quite dirty and shabby.
Some details from our last stay I forgot to include: After refusing to acknowledge our booking included breakfast (showed them the Expedia booking and itinerary printout) they told us we needed to ring Expedia. This was straight after they had been told our phones would not work here. When reminded of this they would not let us ring using their phone. Expedia rang them in response to an email from me but they pretended to have no staff who understood English. There was always someone at the counter who spoke English and the manager, who would not come out of his back office to talk to us had previously sent email responses in English. Staff kept telling me to come back at a specified later time to resolve the problem. Each time the manager had not appeared and I was expected to just sit and wait or come back at another specified time.

Rude staff. Charged for included breakfast
No welcome drink while everyone else got one. Was a clear division based on our race. Was part of booking.
Had a booking with breakfast included which they would not honour. Charged the full paid at the last minute rate for breakfast after offering the paid at book in rate when we went to breakfast.
Bathroom quite mouldy. Hot water was dark brown, muddy, with oily substance floating on it for about 20 minutes in the morning.
Front desk and door staff rude and unhelpfull. Some other staff just glared at you while others would give you a smile back and be helpful and friendly.
Three front door staff were happy to stand talking and ignore you when you had your arms full of luggage getting through the door.
These same staff laughed at a very helpful staff member who assisted us across from the nearby Tinidee Inn at a later date.

Pleasant Surprise
Hotel was fine, but a little complicated to get to. Had to drive zigzag through parts of town. Japanese (sushi) restaurant nearby and good, except that they were out of most fish both evenings we were there which is somewhat ironic for such a restaurant.

Quiet and boring hotel.
The service from housekeeper was excellent. Front office staff was unfriendly. The hotel's condition was ok, rather old and boring. Location isn't near walking distance to any decent restaurants. Must drive. The plus point is free service to airport.

Great for Hot Spring and Pool
Spa fed by hot mineral spring, great swimming pool fine for laps, large gym with reasonable equipment, free transportation to the Tinadee Hot Spring, comfortable lobby, decent buffet for 200 baht. Downside is that it's a bit of a hike if you want to walk into town.
