It was a cheap stay. Area was so-so at best. It does look like they are remodeling/updating the place, so I'll give them that, but there's half done projects throughout the area of the hotel that I went through.

An old hotel that is being given a new life. Remodeling happening all over the site, including the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had fresh fixtures, paint etc. Amenities were sparse but this is a budget-friendly hotel, so don't expect a lot. Walls are thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors.

Only gave 4 🌟 for accommodation as there somr remodeling/updating happening HOWEVER, all is looking grand. Bravo! Hopefully next visit your pool will be in operation. We were NOT planning on being in a pool this o wrnight stay as we were in town to see a band 1 blk away at Crucible.

Stayed in Madison for a show at the Crucible. Very unassuming from the outside but inside was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Very large bed and the room had a mini fridge with a microwave as well.
