Room nice, outside not..
The outside was a little shady and the security at the front door made you worry about the neighborhood. Once you got inside, the staff was behind glass. I was worried. But once you got to the room, the room was clean and nice. The climate control was a little off but we were to warm, not cold even though it was cold outside. This place is really just a place to sleep and not spend time outside the room.

Not worth the money for a Badger weekend
Over priced for a Badger football weekend! Paid over $200 for a room that isn't worth $75!!! The rooms are something I would expect from a motel in the sticks of Wisconsin, not on E. Washington in Madison. The King sized bed was being held up with something from IKEA and the bathroom had to have 20 coats of paint in the walls!

Cheap flip gone wrong
It looks like a cheap flip with either old beaten down features that have been painted, or the cheapest IKEA thing you can find, poorly installed. The bed was cheap and squeaky, the lamp was so cheap and light trying to adjust it made it fall over every time. I will say it was clean and decently well maintained inside.

Pretty gross
Not very clean and smells like people have been smoking in it since the 70s. Only made it 1 night before going to a nicer hotel

I enjoy the enployees. Just this past stay there was Chinese rice left on the ground by the light near the bed. Other than that its a great place to stay for the price

Stayed in Madison for a show at the Crucible. Very unassuming from the outside but inside was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Very large bed and the room had a mini fridge with a microwave as well.

Aloha is a low end motel. That said, it is great if all you want is a place to store your stuff and sleep. It was close to the venue where the festival was at and drew a pretty full house this weekend. It is also just off the highway. There are food options within a mile, and it was clean. If you like fancy, this ain't for you. If you need inexpensive no frills though, this might do you just fine.

No frills, comfortable, great value. Would return.
No-frills hotel. It seems to be recently updated. The room matched the photos with laminate "wood" floors, updated furniture, fridge, microwave, and TV. We had two rooms - a king and two queens. We were looking for a place to sleep for the night after a long day and didn't need anything fancy. For the price, we were quite satisfied. The pool was out of service but being worked on, though we had no plans to use it. The breakfast was consummate for the price and the coffee was above average for a hotel. Cameras were everywhere in the common spaces as there was no full-time on-site staff. If you arrive after hours (10 pm on the day we arrived) you need to check in via phone and they will text you codes for the front door and your room. The person we spoke with on the phone to check in was friendly. It was a pretty easy process, but if you want 24/7 staff, this isn't your place. I do all my ratings based on price as I have different expectations based on what I pay. It would have been 1/10 if I had paid $1200 a night (which I have), but at $69/night, it's a solid 8/10.
