Friendly service, a very nice room, plentiful breakfast, comfortable beds and a spa section as well. We can't ask for more. If any improvement could be made it would be to put some kind of anti slip mats or something down in the spa section, as the floor there is extremely slippery. Im sure we'll be back. This was our third stay at thos hotel for my daughter and I.

Central location but the room was very drab and in need of an update. We got a room at the back with a window that looked into a light shaft, ie directly at three walls with some other windows. The window also didn’t open and the air in the room was not great after a family of four spent a night in there.

On arrival I was given a room that had not been cleaned! I was then given another room which I was told was an upgrade but that room was smaller than the first and there was nothing to suggest it was in fact an upgrade. On my final day I was told that the lock to my room was to be changed, however, when I arrived back that evening the lock was not finished and there were wood shavings on the floor. Finally breakfast was poor to mediocre compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Gothenburg. I am convinced the scrambled egg was made with egg powder NOT real eggs.

Jag har bott på Opera förut, i den nya delen. Då var jag mycket nöjd. Denna gång fick jag ett rum i vad jag förmodar var en gammal del av hotellet. På väg till rummet luktar det extremt mycket mögel. Rummet i sig luktade inte mögel, men var väldigt slitet. Det fanns ingen hållare för toapapoersrullen, utan en nästan tom toarulle (det var verkligen en nästan helt tom rulle) stod placerad på toalocket. Långa hårstrån satt fast i tvålpumpen. Sänglampan växlade mellan av och på var 10 sekund. Överkastet var fläckigt och heltäckningsmattan på golvet hade stora bruna fläckar, jag vågade inte ta av mina skor. Som tur var var sängen ren, så jag sov gott. Så för att sammanfatta, den mer renoverade delen av hotellet är bra, personalen trevlig och frukosten god, men mitt rum var faktiskt ett av de värsta rum jag bott i.

Vi reste med vår hund och valde ett ”hundvänligt hotell”. Det stämde mycket bra! De hade matskål med hundfoder, vattenskål och mycket hundvänlig personal. Allt i entrén, där de hjälpte oss in genom en ”vanlig” dörr istället för den snurrande entrédörren som vår hund blev lite rädd för.
