Nice surprise
I threw in a quick pit stop to Gothenburg from Oslo to Copenhagen. I had originally booked in at a chain property but took another look at my options via TA and decided to come stay at the Hotel Royal. I'm so please with my choice. Great service, beautiful old architecture, comfortable rooms that are laid out well for size (I was in a twin room but had ample room for a large bag). Fantastic breakfast, close to the railway, close to everything. I was only in town for about 36 hours but feel like I got a good overview of the city. If I come back I will most definitely stay here again. I applaud them for remaining independent and doing a great job at catering to their guests.

Välkommen till Göteborgs äldsta hotell! Fantastiska miljöer med mycket arkitektur från förr. En fröjd för den som uppskattar sådant. Rummet var rymligt och bjuder allt man kan önska. Frukosten var också helt fantastisk :-) Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!
