About Princess St. Hotel - Manchester

Smartly refurbished grand hotel in Manchester city center

Refurbishment of the lobby has nearly been completed and the coffee shop will be opening soon. There are plans for a soft refurbishment of the guestrooms.

Deansgate or Piccadilly

Princess St. Hotel sits midway between Deansgate and Manchester Piccadilly train stations, just over a 10-minute walk or 5 minutes by cab from each. The world-renowned Royal Exchange Theatre is 10 minutes' walk away, with high-end stores such as Harvey Nichols nearby.

Northern Quarter cafés

You'll be 10 minutes' walk from the quirky, unique stores and cafés of the revitalized Northern Quarter, and 2 minutes from the UK's second-largest Chinatown. It's 25 minutes by tram to stunning Salford Quays, home to the Lowry arts center and many other must-see attractions.

Stylish cellar bar

The 24 Bar serves everything from craft beers to cocktails in a chic setting, while 24 Bar & Grill features local, seasonal produce on its daily blackboard menu. There's also 24-hour fitness center, and the level of service throughout the hotel is highly praised by guests.

Space for families

All 140 of the sleekly furnished guestrooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi, along with mini-fridges and air conditioning. There's a good choice of larger rooms for families, some with a separate seating area, as well as extra beds.

Super good location with walking distance to shopping centers, resturants and China Town.

Wonderful! Our favourite hotel on this trip.
Wonderfully spacious room with two luxurious double beds. We ordered room service, it was prompt and the food delicious (it comes from Bistro 24)! The shampoo, shower gel and body lotion have a lovely fragrance and the whole hotel had this beautiful aroma of Christmas potpourri when I stayed there in mid December. Downstairs next to the quaint and cosy reception area is a lovely coffee house with excellent cakes and drinks. My daughter declared this to be her favourite hotel. I have to agree with her.

It's a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast buffet was a little over cooked. The key system at the lift a little tempermental but a nice hotel to stay in.

Very poor services
Poor services and management. Your hotel has no intention to listen customer requests. We made reservation via and marked remarks that we expect upper floor is given. Also, we voiced out during check in when we saw you assigned ground floor rooms to us. However, your staff insisted Not to make changes and asked us to look. One room is near exit and car park. Another room has to go through a fire corridor door and separately locates there (your hotel arrange this room to my daughter who is just teenager). After further communication, your hotel agreed changing rooms on first floor only. Poor experience for check out arrangement. My daughter check out on day earlier and she requested late check out AND PAID in advance. Your staff asked her to pay again during check out and did not allow us to go back another room (which stay one more night and paid). After further communication AGAIN, we were told it was system error so your staff made it wrong. Should a four star hotel offer such level of services ?
