I booked a 3-night stay, starting from the night before my trip because my flight was scheduled to arrive at 5 a.m. From past experience with this hotel, I knew they charge nearly a full day’s rate just to check in a few hours early (check-in is at 3 p.m., but they once allowed me in at 11 a.m. with a high fee), so I decided to book the extra night to avoid that.
Unfortunately, due to an unexpected incident, I was unable to board my flight. I contacted the hotel immediately, and even had my friend—who was already staying at the hotel—speak to the front desk on my behalf. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility or partial refund. They insisted on charging me the full amount for all three nights, with no consideration for the situation, not even a 50% refund which is a common courtesy in cases of emergency or no-show due to unforeseen events.
This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will not be staying at this hotel again.
