The staff who weren't related to management were clearly unhappy to be there and I don't blame them. The lobby had a musty smell and it took almost 20 minutes for the person working the front desk to get inside to help us.
Once in our room, we noticed that there were stains in the bathroom and on the bedspreads, burn holes in the bedspreads, and a smashed dead roach on the wall.
Shortly after we woke up that first morning, my daughter and I were sitting on the beds talking and my daughter saw a bedbug, which we immediately killed and took a picture of.
We went straight down to the front desk and after finally finding someone to talk to, they got the manager, who, after telling me to be quiet, said they'd move us to a different room. We had to leave all of our belongings in the hall while we waited nearly two hours for our new room to be cleaned.
This morning at checkout time, I asked to speak with the manager to find out if he was going to at least discount my room to compensate for the fact that I woke up to bed bugs. He told me that allowing us to switch rooms was sufficient in his mind. He was extremely rude, and actually accused us of bringing the bedbugs to his hotel. Which is utterly ludicrous since you can read back through the reviews and see that as recently as 5 months ago someone complained about bedbugs in their review as well.
In short, if I could give fewer than one star I would and I would strongly urge you to go anywhere else.
