Deceiving and disappointing
Property looks nice but the disappointment is in the details and lack of service. Front desk personnel not friendly or welcoming. We had an electrical issue our first night which disrupted our sleep and has to call security. The electrician eventually came to assist. Another day, the power went out. The pool wasn’t cleaned daily and you could see debris and sunscreen buildup. Food was good at the bar/grill which we had to visit while waiting for our room upon checking in as it wasn’t ready. Wouldn’t stay again unfortunately.

This is a great place to vacation if you are looking to relax and be secluded. I can say the front desk staff is not friendly or welcoming but all the housekeeping & restaurants staff is. I would recommend bringing a firestick or device for tv as there are only 10 channels that do not work. The room doesnt have a microwave. The views are awesome, but i feel it should come with more amenities for the price. But i will be back. Also plan to have no working wifi. Food on average $15 so are drinks. And i recommend getting your own rental.

We had a FABULOUS 8- night stay! The best part was the people! Everyone was so kind and helpful! We felt so welcomed and did not want to leave! Everybody from the front desk, to the servers and bartenders to housekeeping! The beach is unbelievable with breathtaking views. The room was great and the balcony was amazing!!! Thank you for making it an absolutely perfect vacation for us, Carambola Beach Resort! We will be back for sure! Also- the taxi drivers were wonderful too! Remote location but absolutely stunning views. There were a few cosmetic issues that could improve the overall quality of the accommodations but we were pleased with the food, drinks, beach, and pool so we didn’t dwell on them much.

This is great resort for divers. View from room was great. As I have knee problems, my vehicle was parked too far away and there was little food at remote resort. My suite was nice, but mattress was too lumpy to sleep well. It is not good for older people.
