Accountability……NONE. We prepaid..
I have stayed at STARGAZER annually for the past 8 years while in Monterey…they have never remembered me. While staying on Dec7-11 2024, we checked in and put our belongings away to include golfing equip/clubs. We settled down to watch a highly anticipated football game and the TV doesn’t work. We called front desk (Carla), who confirmed it did not work- they rented us the room (we requested 112, so we could get our golf equip in/out quickly each day)…They new the TV did not work. I mentioned to Carla that we would be out playing golf for 6 hours the next day-so they could swap out the TV. That DID NOT Happen.
Now we are dealing with Allan(sp)who just wants to get thru it since he’s was never involved. Bottom line- stay with a broken TV or move all our stuff out to a less accessible /Smaller room whose TV works (but 1 they would not unplug and place in our 1st room!!) so we didn’t have to move all our stuff to the smaller/less accessible room….Probably a 20 minute Fix —but they can’t/won’t Do It.
So the TV works in this smaller/cramped room but we’re not happy about the inconvenience on something they were aware of prior to our arrival. Allan mentioned something about a room ‘credit or adjustment’ at check out.
Now its check out time and there is yet another employee who doesn’t know me or care about my circumstance. I just heard ‘blah, blah, blah’. He doesn’t know me or care about me…and if that’s the way he feels..I will take my business somewhere its appreciated
