Not worth the money
Unfortunately this hotel is not worth the money paid, small details like missing fittings in the bath, leaking shower, broken bed are not things that one would expect time find in a hotel with 5 stars. The restaurant was extremely overpriced for what you get. The staff were friendly but the actual service was lacking. They didnt clear plates, when they did you had to go and ask for extra cutlery. All in all not a hotel I would stay at again or recommend.

Great hotel, friendly staff, wonderful cuisine. We loved the values the hotel espouses and practices. Also the hotel is centrally located with Bengali Market, CP a short walk from the hotel. Highly recommend it whether for business or pleasure.

Not worth the money
Horrible experience from the check in to check out. Room wasn't available on time and was told that I can downgrade but would be charged the same if I didn't want to wait. Room that was eventually given wasn't even cleaned properly. Second room for my colleague was not ready in time either and we had to go back in evening to get the keys. Later on the keys wouldn't work so accessing elevators and room was another hassle. Every morning there was a long line up for breakfast as they don't have enough seating area. Room service was also horrible.

Not the Lalit I know.
This is not the Lalit I know. The hotel is dated. Bed sinks down which gave me a back ache. Furniture is old. Railway station is nearby which creates quite abit of noise
