Work & Play at Social House
Overall, our stay was very good and we would stay at Social House again. The hotel has a number of different restaurants, each different and good in their own way. Special requests are heeded and while I wouldn't call it a "business hotel' per se, we worked quite comfortably in the outdoor area by the pool and had meetings without distraction. The staff was very friendly, professional and responsive. We were not so impressed with our room when we first arrived - I booked the size just below the suite, and it turned out to be quite a bit smaller than expected, made tighter by the design - which while aesthetic and design forward - did not have a great flow in our room mainly due to the large furniture in the small space. They did offer to move us to a suite which was a lot more spacious, but as we didn't want to pay more, we chose to stay in the original room - I asked them to remove the giant coffee table and swap it for a small ottoman or table as well as to clean/replace a badly stained couch. They did, which I was very appreciative for, and it made a huge difference - we were quite comfortable in the room for our 5 night stay.

Wonderful hotel -- very trendy, clean, and in a great location. The restaurants are great, and the 24 hour cafe is perfect for business trips. The staff are so lovely and attentive. The housekeeper for my room, Bonziana, always made the place feel tidy and cozy. I will definitely be back.

Nice, modern hotel with decent food options but the fact that my partner and I had to wait for about 2 hours to check into our room was ridiculous. NO one greeted us when we first entered and we had to ask a fellow guest at the place to let us know where to go and who to talk to. Additionally, the check-in lady told us that she would notify us when the room was ready but after waiting for two hours, we had to proactively ask for a status update on our room. No sincere apologies were given. We stayed here both nights and loud music was playing all night long so if you want a good night sleep or if you want to go to bed early, this place may not be the place for you. The accommodation and location may be nice but the customer service and professionalism are lacking during my visit. not sure if I'll come back.
