"We run, overall"
Mantra on View Hotel
"Room was clean, though several of the lights didn't work, we only stayed one night so this was manageable. Everything else was as expected given the location and age of the hotel. Almost all the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was enjoyable. The assistant manager was especially friendly, greeting us and gifting us a complementary wine as we were taking an extra night on our honeymoon. Overall a pleasant experience and would gladly recommend to friends and family."
Novotel Surfers Paradise
"Lovely place, the extractor fan in bathroom was broken"
The Langham, Gold Coast and Jewel Residences
"We had a lovely stay at The Langham! Check-in and check-out were smooth, lobby was amazing and luxurious, the room was huge and amazing with a bedroom X ensuite, a common toilet and shower and a study. We also had a wraparound balcony with stunning views of Nerang River and Broadbeach. Amentiies were great. Pools both indoor and outdoor outstanding. This hotel delivered the luxury that The Langham brand promises. The best add on was their Whatsapp support line - was using it even prior to our arrival to confirm details of our booking, plus used it to request blankets and complimentary water and finally clarificafions re our checkout. Location-wise very close to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, it had food options too. We genuinely had five star experience."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Gold Coast
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable times to visit the Gold Coast are in February, June, and August, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To fully appreciate the area's significant landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore the stunning beaches, indulge in family-friendly activities, enjoy diverse shopping and dining options, and experience the rich history and culture of the region. Visiting during these months not only ensures a budget-friendly trip but also offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for those looking to make the most of their holiday while keeping costs down.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For those seeking great savings on hotels in Gold Coast, Hotels.com offers a variety of options. Begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels. If your travel is imminent, check out the Last-Minute Deals section to find special offers close to your departure date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature, a handy comparison tool within the app, helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, potentially alerting you if rooms become available or prices drop. Stay updated with notifications to ensure you seize your chance for a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Gold Coast hotel. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead you to a more advantageous rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels nearer to the city centre usually command higher prices, but thanks to Gold Coast's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
