Good for the price
Good bar and restaurant area with good food. Rooms are about average for the price point, could do with a little sprucing up. Pool was good if not busy but the area around the pool did smell quite bad.

Tired and disappointing. Twin room was dull and dusty. Suspect stains on bed cover. Pool wasn't great with broken and lifting tiles in showers which could cause an injury. I had also contacted the hotel ahead of time as this trip was a surprise for my 8 year old daugter asking for something to be put in room. Didn't happen. As for breakfast. Walk into town!!

It was fine
It was okay. Nothing extravagant about the stay. Executive Room was supposed to Include certain items a standard room did not, had none of those items. Personally did not see the difference in paying the extra! Left a do not disturb sign on the door, had two turndown service colleagues enter on two separate occasions within ten minutes of each other, which wasn’t pleasant!

High standard hotel in good location
I was in the city on business and stayed here. The staff were friendly there was a nice bar area and the leisure facilities were good. Limited on vegetarian/vegan options at breakfast compared to other hotels ive stayed in but managed a good breakfast. Room was immaculately clean but it was a little noisy outside which could impact some people.(I slept fine). Location was good for the city airport too and walking distance eateries. Would recommend particularly if you like a hotel with a gym etc.

needs modernising.
advertise as having satalite tv. i complained as had no signal on most channels. after they had looked at it i had some of the free channels but no more. the room was bit dated and looked like they had crammed it in a corner with the bathrooms light switch going behind a fake wall. gym changing room was dirty and also needs updating.breakfast was very nice

I got moved to another hotel
I had booked this hotel as it had a swimming pool, and gym, I come to Belfast for work every month and was trying to find the best hotel for my needs, so I was excited to try this out. The afternoon before my stay, I got a call from the hotel, saying they can't give me my room as they had issues. They said they would have move me to the Maldron. I asked why, they said they had a leak. I expressed my disappointment of not being able to try this hotel and use the facilities. They were very good to let me use the swimming pool, but I found out after that when you stay at the Maldron, you can anyway. I should have been told when I stayed at the Maldron last time. Anyway, I asked if I can view a room for future and they said that I could, but then I was messed around when I got there and I wasn't able to see a room, so not sure if I will stay there in the future. I feel that they could have been more proactive and shown more concern for such inconvenience, I felt like I had to ask for things before they even offered it.
