Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. However left a bit disappointed as the room given to us initially had a toilet that had foul smell. Upon our request we were moved to another room. Everythibg about this hotel was made better by one of the best staff i have met in my many years of travel experience. His name is Jeymun and he made us feel like we were at home. Went oit of his way throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we wanted and always checked kn us to see if we were good and comfortable. He also guided us to the best sight seeing options as well as restaurants in and around Baku. Hats off to you Jeymun!

The administration of the hotel didnt have vision of high quality of hotel of 5 star. When i forgot to remove disturbe, the clean service didnt knock door or call me in my room, after thant when i return to hotel in the evening, there was worst, when i call the room service they told me " pay money" to m room.

Our experience in Fairmont Baku was amazing. Vusal welcomed us in the Fairmont Gold checkin area and tailored a great experience for us. Overall the staff is great and professional. The rooms are well maintained and the views are the best you can get in Baku (much better than four seasons). The lounge area welcomes guests all day long and the 3rd floor bar has live music every evening. We will definitely come back for more days. Congrats for doing an outstanding job there!

The Bistro is very disappointing. So much so we only went the once. Standard of cuisine does not match the Hotel's Star rating. Room 1018 had the following problems. Shower control was difficult to turn by hand. I had to get my partner to turn it on for me with his stronger grip. Toilet paper was only 2 ply and disintegrated when using. Surely a softer 4 ply toilet paper could have been used. Some of the cupboards were broken and left that way. The chap in the window cradle had a good gawk at us on the day we arrived. We were unpacking and in a state of undress. I didn't have my bra on and my partner was walking around in his underpants. The window cleaner seemed to enjoy our embarrassment from his cradle until we worked out how to close the curtains.
