Salamanca Market (Mercado de Salamanca) is a food market that you'll be hard-pressed to miss thanks to its picturesque design. The architecture here sports a neoclassical style of design with a wrought-iron outside and brightly coloured tiles creating an alluring aesthetic you won't want to miss.
Inside the market, you'll find a modest number of stalls offering authentic and delicious food of various kinds. You'll find local produce as you might expect, but this market additionally offers fresh fish and meat. Everything is sourced locally, with many vendors being directly responsible for the production of their products. It's located just north of the city centre.

Paseo del Muelle Uno is a waterfront market where you'll find more contemporary offerings and loads of stalls with a nice variety of items and handicrafts. Outlets are available all the time, but the monthly 'zoco' is a more market-centred experience in which almost 100 stalls are set up in the area for various vendors.
At this market, you can explore several different kinds of items including handicrafts, apparel, home decor and even fresh produce. Much of the artwork and jewellery are handmade by locals. Vintage items are often available at the market as well. You can explore it for yourself along the harbour south of La Malagueta.

Atarazanas Market (Mercado Central de Atarazanas) is a market that was originally a Moorish shipyard where you'll find plenty of items along with tapas bars. This market is situated in the port's 14th-century gateway underneath a massive wrought-iron structure. One of the most striking features is the massive stained glass window that depicts some of the most popular city monuments.
The market can be quite popular with travellers, but locals shop here as well. You'll find all sorts of fresh food with a focus on seafood given how close this market is to the water. In addition to traditional vendors, you'll find tapas bars offering snacks on the market's southern side. It's on the west side of the Centro district.

The market mainly features different types of produce sourced locally, with many of the vendors growing it themselves. The market is notably quieter than a lot of other popular local markets. The structure is typical and modern, making it blend in with the surroundings rather than stand out like its more neoclassical counterparts. You can see it for yourself on the west side of the Guadalmedina between La Aurora and Plaza de Toros Vieja.

Rastro Domingo (Mercado Cortijo de Torres) is a weekly antique market where you'll find a wide variety of retro items available among a large number of vendors. Typically, this market has about 250 stalls set up with each offering something special.
Among the antiques here, you'll find quite a few fascinating secondhand products like handicrafts, textiles, books and furniture. This is also one of the best places in the city to find old posters, vinyls and postcards. It's held on Sundays and is located in Recinto Ferial Cortijo de Torres a few miles west of the town centre.
