There are plenty of contenders for the title of best things to do after dinner in Jersey. Whether you’re looking for a quality show, cocktails crafted by expert mixologists, or to explore Jersey’s history, there’s something here for you to enjoy at night.

Jersey is just off the coast of France but is officially a part of the UK. As a result, you’ll find the most charming aspects of both countries on the island. It’s famous for its beautiful coastline, which, despite its tiny size, boasts over 20 beaches. Jersey has a chilled-out vibe at night and even its capital, St Helier, moves at a slower pace than on the mainland. Enjoy a relaxed evening soaking up the unique atmosphere of this very special destination.

Jersey’s WWII bunkers allow visitors to discover this important part of its history. The island was occupied by the Germans for almost the entire war, and during that time, a series of underground bunkers (Hohlgangsanlage) was built to protect German troops from being attacked from the sky.

The well-preserved bunkers can be visited at night for extra atmosphere. You can check out all types of war-related sites across the island, both aboveground and underground. It’s a fascinating glimpse into Jersey’s history that will appeal to anyone interested in the mysteries of WWII.
