When we got there there was a large line for check in. It was moving slowly but all seemed well. When we got to the front we had to pay a random facilities fee and an amenity fee (which we were told included breakfast) We'd had a long day so we just went with it. When we got to our room... after a harrowing walk down the hallway, the paint was chipping over the shower, the wallpaper was coming down, and there was no hot water. When I called the front desk to ask about the water the lady was polite and concise. It came back on a few hours later.
The bed itself was comfortable, albeit squeaky. The rest of the room was similarly suitable, although underwhelming. My main issue is that there was no drinkable water in the room. In the morning when I went down to breakfast to fill our water bottles I was instructed to purchase waterbottles. Upon asking if there was water included (remember the "amenity fee") the man behind the bar said he could offer me tap. When I asked if that was safe to drink (the tap itself looked fairly grimy, I was told "ma'am that's your responsibility to find out" ... right, that's why I asked.
However all the workers except this gentleman were kind and efficient.
