Small and cozy
This was a small hotel room but that was all i needed. The entry way was in an alley with several wonderful restaurants right out the door. You can park your car here and easily walk to get food, music or entertainment. This is now my go-to place in Macon.

Downtown and comfortable bed
This is a beautiful old building and the room was comfortable. We were not aware we were on the 2nd flr and no elevator. Quite a flight of stairs for the luggage. No one on duty at the hotel. To get ice we would have gone downstairs, through an alley and into the bar. All doable but i wound have preferred to know that. I paid a higher price hoping for more amenities.

Perfect stay in downtown Macon
Great location in downtown historic Macon. Convenient free parking. Nicely appointed, clean room. Seems newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Plentiful and thoughtful sundry items. Long staircase up to our room (#9). Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located in not a safe downtown area. Too many homeless walking around. The parking lot is old and doesn’t fit trucks.

2/10 Poor

Felt like AirBnB After booking with Expedia they call you the day of your check in to ask for credit card information over the phone because there is no front desk and they send you 4 emails with instructions. No room service, no one to ask questions or doubts. Only a phone number to call. Location Downtown Macon was dissappointing. Felt unsafe, was dirty and could not find attractive businesses for our taste. Has many closed businesses and empty commercial spaces. Felt like this is a small version of Baltimore/Jacksonville. We were scared to wait for Uber outside the hotel or even walk a block away because of all drug addicts, homeless and sketchy people around. I do not recommend staying at this property because of this location and if you are a person that is concern about your safety. I do not recommend this property because of its location. Parking A block away from the hotel in an alley that is unsafe, in awful dirty condition (sneakers, garbage and bad smell), poorly designed that is difficult to park and very low (scary low ceiling for big SUV) and sketchy people around (homeless, drug addicts among others). I do not recommend this property because of the parking. Noise The noise from wood floors on the room above ours is loud. We heard every step, stomping and echos of conversations until midnight. They need to treat over the noisiest areas of the floor to block out sounds. Room was small (Room 4) on the first floor, looked nice and was clean.

Wonderful
Elegant, extremely clean, fantastic location. Loved this hotel so much. One major downside: they do not offer an early check-in and check-in is on the later side (4PM). We were exhausted and slept outside in our car for 2 hours while we waited to receive the keypad code/be granted access to the hotel. Otherwise, this hotel is fabulous.

Perfect get a way
The hotel is very quaint, set in a historic building it has romantic charm with unique distinctions of history with a side of updated amenities. The floors slant so the bed is slanted but oh so comfortable. No frills in room service or valet or even a front desk all self check in but extremely easy and clear instructions. The parking is in a deck with lower ceilings so check height restrictions, we needed to park on the street and pay due to that something I did not see on the website. A tad noisy on a Saturday night with an event next door but not too bothersome. Great walking distance to bars, and restaurants….check out the attached bar which has amazing vibes. Would definitely come back!

This is a fantastic boutique hotel. I love the contactless entry. The room was beautiful with wonderful coffee, tea, toiletries. You have several concert venues, restaurants, all within a few steps in the historic district. I would highly recommend for business & personal travel. Nice rooftop bar. It was lovely and quaint unlike some of your big box brands.
