    Although the building was beautiful I was disappointed overall. The service was not great. The person that checked me in was less than pleasant and not helpful. There was a long wait to get any service either at the front desk or calling room service. There was a problem with the phone in our room and we had to be moved. Though the room price was not bad everything else was extra and overpriced. Parking an extra $49 a night and the food offered in the hotel was overpriced for what it was. The pool was great but closed much earlier that I expected.

    Stay at the Hilton

    I waited 50 minutes to check in. Only had 3 people checking folks in. The line was like what you see at Disney world. Missed my reservation. The stay well stuff was either missing or not working. The tv didn’t work. Someone had to come up to fix that.

    Bellman/Luggage problem & Long Check-in time

    Booked in Marquis because we have stayed there many many times over the past 30 years and feel safe personally and with the parking. When we arrived we were told the garage was full, and we'd have to park down the street. We are all four older women. But that's what we did after luggage removed from car by a uniformed bell man. Next, the Check-In process was ridiculous. 1.5 hr in line. Wonderfully friendly and helpful clerk at the check-in. When we finally finished check-in, bell captain called same bellman who retrieved luggage from car. Bellman was told/shown our room number & we saw bellman with our luggage trolley headed to the elevator. An hour later no luggage. We phoned, were told backlog was the problem. 30 min later went down... All Bellmen had left for evening, We were asked if we sure a Marriott employee had gotten our luggage out of the car? Yes, He was in uniform and bell captain had signaled to the very one who got the luggage from the car. The Manager finally located our luggage on the trolley in the holding room behind the bell captain stand. Room was fine, exactly what we expected. Vending Machines were out at one location and had no water at the other.

    And Then This Happened

    Our stay as great. We were able to utilize a lot of the amenities. We were informed that housekeeping was only upon request due to COVID restrictions. Which we had no problem with. However, on the morning we were to check out, my sister and I was in the restroom getting dress when someone from housekeeping used their keys to open our room door. We were not dressed , this was about 10:32 a.m. We both asked, standing in our underwear, and my sister in a towel ;” who the hell are you” while walking towards her , yes in an aggressive manner ready to throw down. An old oriental lady says with shock and fear in her face: oh, so sorry ,house keeping. She turned immediately and took flight to the elevators with a backpack on, and a fabric dark blue bag, no cart, no vacuum, or any essentials for housekeeping. By the time I was able to put on pants while still in a bra, I seen her going down on the elevator. No, I wasn’t able to catch her. I filed a formal complaint and let them know if I see her again I would know her. I explained to security that I wasn’t looking to be compensated, but you guys need to do better for future customers because this is a serious matter that security need to look into. She was definitely up to no good, which tells me this is not her first off the clock use of her keys. I thought about a possible mix up in time, but nah, where was her cleaning essentials, she obviously had the wrong room.

    2.5 hours wait to check-in on weekends.

    This hotel has one of the most amazing interior architectural designs I've ever seen. there's plenty of common space to lounge around at your own pace. when I check into a hotel I always check for bed bugs, cleanliness, spots & stains of any kind. I am happy to report this hotel passed my inspection with flying colors. If not for the check-in and the placement of my room I would have scored this hotel much higher. Checking into this hotel was a little over a two-hour process. I would like to think that this was a one off, however every night that I was there was the same thing. At first it caught me off guard so I went to the security and asked him if there was an event in town thinking maybe I had accidentally stumbled across? he responded with this is a every weekend issue with the hotel. My are there major factor was my view I stayed in room 227 which is literally a view of a wall. My assumption is that they save their views and better rooms for the people who actually book directly with the hotel and those who put third party get the room facing the wall.
