Awesome Stay
I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. This was truly one of the most comfortable stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant experience!

Wonderful place to stay
The staff was extremely friendly and ready to assist. The view of the arena from our room was amazing. Everything was relaxed and laid back. Plenty of things to do and see. The holiday light displays and shows were excellent.

Are you kidding me
“Are you kidding me” were the first words out of my mouth when I entered my hotel room. This was after already being overwhelmed ably an incredible entrance and lobby decorated with high end couture furniture, decor, and equestrian artwork. This place is an equestrian dream. My hotel room overlooks a warm up ring and I could watch horses first thing in the am from my bed with a cup of coffee all the way into the late evening. I was only in town for one evening to try horses in Ocala and was planning to just book any old hotel since I wouldn’t be spending much time in it but I booked The Equestrian on a whim despite the price tag and I am so glad I did. What an experience and I’ll absolutely be back. As a solo traveler, I headed to the bar at the yellow pony to have a martini and a light dinner. It was lively and I’ve never sat at a bar and looked around to be surrounded by all fellow equestrians. It’s such a cool thing. The breakfast at patisserie was also delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We evacuated to the resort for Hurricane Milton. It is a beautiful resort with fine dining, a nice bar and a terrific pastry shop for coffee and breakfast. The staff was amazingly helpful. i would definitely recommend the Equestrian to friends and would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful property. The hotel and rooms are wonderful. The front desk staff, cleaning staff and doormen are exceptional. The bartenders at the Yellow Pony are my only compliant. They are over staffed and provide slow inefficient service. I have been there many times and always leave feeling like they were annoyed to serve people and interrupt their behind the bar conversation and side work. Definitely do not go there the last hour or two before they close because you will be lucky to get a food or a drink. They will be more concerned about emptying the ice bin and cleaning the service bar. Beyond the Yellow Pony bar staff this is an exceptional property. They should just rethink there bartending staff and do a bit of a up grade to people that actually like to bartend.

Great 4-star property. Best hotel in the area of Ocala and Gainesville, FL. Our only issue is their on-site restaurants. They aren't up to the same standards as their property. The Stirrups restaurant (their fine dining restaurant) is usually understaffed and they DO NOT answer phones for reservations but rely on leaving messages for a return call. This allows for less staffing. This was a problem with the hotel staff at check-in who couldn't make a dining reservation for us due to no person to answer the call. The restaurant menus were very simple, lacking in interesting selections and fresh seafood. We love Emma's pastry shop. Great example of a well-managed shop with great breakfast selections. Best on-premises. We now eat in Gainesville or Ocala before we return to the property. Great hotel otherwise.

The hotel is beautiful! The attention to detail is evident and the artwork around the place is perfect. Loved the horses. The grounds are well manicured and the staff is excellent. Will be back!

It was amazing. Very clean, the staff was very friendly. We basically stayed on the property except to go snorkeling and kayaking. We rented a golf cart and rode around the property. The pool is amazing and huge. And the food was awesome.
