Safety hazard
There were many safety issues to which I will notify the state of Maryland about. No smoke detector, deadbolt on the door didn't work properly, only hot water in the shower, no telephone hooked up. And then there was a list of other things that I previously mentioned that were inconveniences

Extremely nasty room.
The hotel room was extremely dirty with cockroach droppings everywhere. The bathroom was moldy and the carpet was extremely dirty. The bed had hairs and the sheets were wrinkled. I was offered another room that was not much better. So I had to make another reservation for a nearby hotel. I asked for a refund and i was told I would get it. It's been 3 days since I checked in and I haven't received the refund.

You get what you pay for. There were a lot of holes in the unit I stayed in, on the walls, a lot of loose appliances; it's fine if you just want a quick place to sleep, but I would not recommend a longer stay than that.

We went in the first room and soon as we turned the lights on roaches were everywhere, then the second and third was a little better but still dirty. I don't recommend this place to no one please stay away. It needs to be shut down by code enforcement.

There were bed bugs and/or rodent feces in the sheets, as well as numerous stains. For two people for two nights, we were provided only one towel and an extremely stained floor mat. The wall had an open/broken access panel to the pipes and the exposed insulation had water damage. The refrigerator was unplugged when we came in and had black mold and a weird smell inside it. The exterior was decently maintained. The two hoteliers were firm, but professional and warm enough. Most of the people staying there seemed to be long-term stays. The mattress was surprisingly firm and comfortable, but everything was very dirty and I couldn't help but worry about bedbugs. I only sat on it for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. No refunds, but it was worth it for the peace of mind to sleep elsewhere.

This is definitely a hotel to avoid if you have a family or kids. Looks like people live there on a 1 night at a time basis. Car stereo parties spilling out into the parking area, some doors tagged with graffiti, and a general feeling that if you look at someone too long you'll get into a fight or worse. Hotel employee couldn't locate my Expedia booking so just handed me back my ID and basically said goodbye. The helper came in and managed to find it but then gave me a 1 bed room when I had booked a 2 bed. Turned out to be a blessing as the first room stank of cigarettes and ironically I had to pay $25 extra for a non-smoking room in case I smoked in it... that was refunded at checkout, but seemed to be a very strange policy. Stick to the nearby Elkton Lodge or Motel 6 if you don't want to worry about your hubcaps being stolen while you sleep.

The room was filthy. There was a hole in the floor going into the bathroom. Holes in the walls. Other peoples clothes in the room. The room seemed like it hadnt been cleaned in a long time I asked for a refund and was told they could not refund the room but give me a new room. The second room was just as bad. While I was waiting for the new room there were two police officers that showed to deal with an issue with someone who lives there full time. There wash trash everywhere outside. It is basically a place that rents weekly to people who are not able to rent a regular house or apartment . I ended up just booking a new room somewhere else and left losing the 70.00 dollars and 25 dollar deposit I paid. It was a horrible, nasty place. I definitely wasnt going to stay there with my two grandchildren that i went to spend the weekend with.
