Expensive and need to read the pool towel return policy. Nice place, good service, but not cheap at all. Rooms were not huge for a family of 4, but in an awsome town!

After a 15 Hour Dr., we were checked into room 306 which didn’t have hot water and the tub drain didn’t work …couldn’t fix the heat took a cold shower standing in cold water and then we had to move to another room. The hotel is filled with scuffed walls, dirty carpet and chipped doors and cabinetry. This generation is not handling the responsibility of managing or caring for the property very well it looked as though a number of decorative items had been sold off, and the result is lackluster

Great location and amenities
Great location and service and everything was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Stayed at the Harborside which looked a bit tired and like it needs some updating compared to the Beach Club. Beach Club looks much nicer and updated. That said, we still had a great stay, the beds were comfortable and we loved all the amenities offered by the resort.

Hotel is a beautiful harbor, has beach with Tiki Bar, Fire Pits, Ice Skating Rink, Can walk to a large Navy Vessel Museum, Restaurants on site, it’s in a gated community so you know your car and belongings will be safe. Front desk staff was super friendly and got me checked in quickly.

The resort grounds were very nice. Lots to do there in the summer. It was very chilly during our stay so couldn’t take advantage of the beach etc. Can’t wait to see it in warmer weather. I’d stay in our room again. Room 218. We had wrap around balcony.

Surprising spot for Thanksgiving
First time staying around Thanksgiving. Easy drive across the river to top restaurants for a turkey day feast, Black Friday shopping and looking at Christmas lights on John's Island. Also drove to Isle of Palms for a delicious lunch at Acme Low Country Kitchen and a great snack and Frose at Co-op on Sullivan's island! Need to schedule next year to watch the Holiday Flotilla-- later in December.

Wouldn’t stay there again.
We were in the older building. Checked in to a small very dated room. Hot water didn’t work nor did the heat/air conditioning - they did fix it. One elevator was shut down and there was a temporary/forever extra set of buttons that looked not right. Beds were older. Would not recommend.
