Everything was great the food places lots to choose from The bell hop and maintenance was so friendly I felt safe with all the security as I was there for a cheer competition The room well it was nice but on a smoke free floor we still smelled the smoke and the room was a little dusty

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The hallways constantly smelled like weed, making the atmosphere feel unclean and unwelcoming. The rooms were freezing cold and felt dark and dingy, far from the comfortable stay I expected. To make matters worse, the heaters weren’t even working, so there was no way to warm up the room. The elevator situation was a nightmare—waiting over 15 minutes each time was beyond frustrating, especially in an overcrowded hotel. On top of that, they never stocked enough toilet paper, which is just basic hospitality. For the price they charge, this place is an absolute ripoff. Overpriced, overcrowded, and poorly maintained. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Worst hotel ever
The tropicana treats all guests like they are bothering them. From the vallet to the front desk to the cashiers to the worker's on the casino floor. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Not a great experience
The rooms were really old the caulking was yellow and chipped. The wallpaper was buckled and very ol. The cushions were shot. You sat on them and sunk down. the nightstand had a burn mark in it. The lights flickered a lot when you turn them on instead of coming right and some of the outlets didn’t work. I wouldn’t stay there again. That was the first time and last time.

Ehh….I’ve paid less & stayed in nicer
Out of 5 elevators only 2 were working in the north tower. Staff at check in & one by the north tower elevators were great but I felt bad for the employee by the elevators….he wasn’t a repairman but happen to get stuck apologizing to people because of the hotels lack of preparation for a busy weekend; a bunch of cheerleader competitions sonn be lots of cheerleaders & their families & the usual patrons enjoying a nice weekend. My room was ok but there’s some holes in the wall; shower door opens and hits the wall because there’s a hole there, shower drain looked like it was worked on and not finished. It was a smoking room even though we don’t smoke & there was cigarette burns here & there through the room which isn’t the fault of the hotel but the people that stay there…..they could use an ashtray or a cup with water in it but used things like the soap dish. For what I paid for my room I didn’t expect to take the stairs because the line for the elevators was ridiculous in the hotel and also for the self park parking garage. The self check in & out kiosk didn’t work for me. I asked when I checked out why it doesn’t work & they explained that if your id has a middle name on it & not on your reservation it won’t find you but the kiosk would just say additional id required. I had to go alllllll the way to the manned personnel at check out that was far from self park because the one by the Havana tower wasn’t staffed. I spent my 24hrs walking & up& down stairs.
