Not as expected
The room wasn’t clean in spots. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. The entire mechanical mechanism was removed. There appeared to be water damage. The wall paper was in disarray as well

Poor housekeeping and front desk service.
We came back to hotel after a long day with family to find the room had not been serviced and so no coffee, water or fresh towels. We called the front desk and was told housekeeping would be there. After 2 hours we called again and the front desk(7pm) told us she would contact HK again. We find out the next morning housekeeping had gone home hours before we called. Why the front desk person lied is unclear but we will be looking for a better hotel the next time we visit our grandson.

Wasn't the best Hilton
The main elevators were very concerning. They open extremely slow, however they close as you are walking in. The door slammed into my son's shoulder. And on another occurrence it hit my hand so hard (i was trying to prevent it from banging into me) and i dropped my yeti with water in it. Also it was between 40-45 degrees outside and the AC was blaring in main halls (ice cold). Theres a decent gap under room door where ac was coming in, so room was hard to keep warm with heater and the ac blaring. Staff was nice. Pool was nice. Gym area nice.

Very old hotel!
This Hilton is very old! The lobby has been modernized and has a restaurant and Starbucks which was convenient, and it's conveniently located to other places to eat. But, the elevators and rooms are old. Phone in room was more like a prop, didn't have any buttons that worked. And, wallpaper peeling at seams. Bed and pillows were very comfortable though.

This was not what we expected from a Hilton hotel
Or for the price point we paid. I booked ahead and called the hotel to ensure our rooms were not marked as no shows/ canceled because I knew we would be arriving around 2/3 am and wanted to ensure a smooth check in process. One of our rooms was canceled and could not be reinstated. I had to rebook and call hotels.com twice to resolve.Their system was down so we also had to wait to check in to the rooms that were "ready." Once we got to our rooms, they were not clean. One of our rooms had a sticky residue on the bathroom floor that smelled like pee, hair all over the place, and stains on the sheets. When we asked to change rooms we were told rooms were sold out. We asked to at least get housekeeping to clean up and we're told that they would just give us someone else’s room. This explains other comments about other guests not receiving the room type they booked. For our other two rooms, one of us found a roach and another found multiple bugs (maybe stink bugs) in their room. Our trip was extended and because of the above reasons we decided to change hotels instead of extending.

Nice but extra costs.
Nice hotel. Lobby is gorgeous. Rooms are scheduled to be renovated soon but are not bad now. I used a hotels.com filter to look for included breakfasts and the selected this hotel based on this search. They serve breakfast but it wasn’t included and costs $18. Also there was an $8 fee to park.

6/10 Good

Disappointed.
After checking in, the keys that were given to me didn't work. Went back to the service desk to get another set of keys and they didn't work either. Called down to the service desk from the floor I was on, they sent up someone with a new set of keys quickly. After receiving the working keys, someone from facilities also came with another set of working keys. The remote wasn't on the dresser. Looked around the room and found it on the floor behind the nightstand on the floor with a used plastic cup. Went to sleep that night, woke up the next morning with 5 bites on my body. The neck, shoulder, two on my right forearm and my eyelid. All five areas were red and itchy. This was my first experience that wasn't up to Hiltons Standards. I will not upload any photo's because I don't want my face to be seen.

Old property...there are better options in the are
Resrvation was for a king with rollup shower. At checkin told they only had doubles, no king rooms with rollup shower. This is an older property. First room smelt like an ashtray. 2nd room had a dirty bathroom and beds were uncomfortable. Maids were knocking on our door at 830am. Not appreciated since we were a late night checkin. 2nd maid was trying to access room without identifying herself... we heard her trying to unlock door and informed her we were still in the room at 9am. They also charge for parking. Theres nowhere else to park with handicap spouse.

Wonderful!
The desk staff was very friendly. The cleaning crew asked every day if we needed the room cleaned or if we needed anything (we declined, but it was nice they asked)
