I visited the cathedral, took a barge trip on Les Hortillonnages , wandered around the town, ate well at one brasserie near the Hotel de Ville and another overlooking the river, was stunned by the grandeur and the beauty of the cathedral.

Mian Miam noodle bar was really delicious, would recommend a meal there and Musée Picardie was very interesting and a beautiful building.

Go and see the cathedral. Wasn't there long enough to see anything else. Will be returning.

Good
Didn't get the chance to go into the town centre proper as the weather wasn't that good. Plenty of places to eat on the edge though.
"Un bon endroit pour visiter à pied Amiens. L’endroit était calme et propre. Le
Stationnement sur place nous a permis de laisser la voiture et de découvrir la ville à pied."
"Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. "
