Bayside Marketplace buzzes with shoppers seeking Miami-themed treasures and waterside dining spots. Getting around couldn't be easier with the convenient Metromover stations whisking you between attractions. Hotels range from luxury high-rises with rooftop pools to business-focused properties, most offering stunning bay views. The area quiets on weekends when the suited professionals retreat, giving tourists more space to explore.

Brickell
Brickell blends Miami's sleek financial district with luxury living, creating a area that hums with urban energy. Gleaming skyscrapers house corporate headquarters while Brickell City Centre's upscale shops and restaurants keep visitors entertained between meetings. The waterfront promenade along Biscayne Bay offers stunning views and a breath of fresh air after exploring Mary Brickell Village's lively scene. Getting around couldn't be easier with three convenient metro stations connecting you to greater Miami. High-end hotels with rooftop pools and waterfront dining spots cater to travellers who appreciate the finer things. The area quiets down after business hours but maintains its sophisticated vibe all week long.

Little Havana
Little Havana buzzes with Cuban energy, where dominoes clack under shade trees and cigar rollers craft masterpieces behind glass windows. Stroll down vibrant Calle Ocho to discover colourful murals, authentic cafeterias serving cortadito, and the iconic Tower Theater's art deco charm. Weekend festivals fill streets with live salsa music while the aroma of Cuban coffee mingles with sweet plantains. Family-run restaurants serve hearty Cuban meals at prices well below Miami Beach rates. Though hotels are limited within the area, city centre accommodation is just minutes away. Metrobus routes and rideshares make getting around easy, with most cultural attractions within walking distance along the main strip.

Wynwood Art District
Wynwood transforms Miami's warehouse district into an outdoor art playground where street murals collide with culture. Wander through the famous Wynwood Walls to see massive works by global artists, then duck into any of the 70+ galleries showcasing contemporary talent. After dark, the art scene shifts into a buzzing nightlife with craft breweries, hip cafés, and monthly art walks keeping things lively. Food trucks and fusion restaurants dot the colourful streets, offering flavours as bold as the surrounding artwork. Getting around is simple—the neighborhood's walkable grid makes exploring easy, while rideshares and bus routes connect you to Miami's beaches and city centre in minutes.

Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove blends lush tropical vibes with artsy energy along Miami's stunning Biscayne Bay. The neighborhood's waterfront parks and marinas buzz with sailors and paddleboarders, while banyan-shaded streets lead to historic sites like the Barnacle and Vizcaya Museum. CocoWalk's open-air plaza delivers shopping thrills alongside art galleries that keep the area's bohemian spirit alive. Dining options range from casual Cuban cafes to waterfront fine dining, with outdoor patios perfect for people-watching. Getting around is a breeze with the free Coconut Grove Circulator trolley and tree-canopied pavements that invite exploration. Boutique hotels and upscale B&Bs offer intimate accommodation with personalised service.

"Would highly recommend."
Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Wynwood Design District
"I arrived for my check in and was informed that my room was not ready and was placed on a wait list. I was told that it would take an hour. My shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. The coffee machine in my room was inoperable. Not sure that I would book this hotel again."
The Elser Hotel Miami
"The staff is always excellent!"
The Grayson Miami Downtown
"Great location very clean room and attentive staff! I enjoyed my stay"
EAST Miami
"Amaze and secure hotel. Only concern which really isn’t a complaint is the late cleaning of the rooms, they have up until 6:30 pm I believe is what I was told. I believe because it’s such a large hotel with numerous rooms it’s hard for the staff to clean them all early in they day however, if you simply call the front desk and they have someone come clean it at your request. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING hotel. One of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever seen."
Kompose Boutique Hotel Miami Airport
"Great breakfast"

"El hotel es excelente si vas una noche y no quieres irte al centro en el caos"
InterContinental Miami by IHG
"Lo único es que no dan agua de beber, en las habitaciones. Ninguna botellitas ni para hacer el café gratis que te dejan. Solo de llave y Dios sabe como esté esa agua"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Miami
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Miami is from August to October, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those wishing to explore the city’s rich history and vibrant culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. During this time, visitors can take in the impressive urban skyline, enjoy live music, embark on cultural excursions, indulge in shopping, and partake in lively festivals. With numerous artistic experiences and beautiful scenery, this period offers great value for money while allowing for an immersive experience in Miami's landmarks and cultural offerings.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For those planning a trip to Miami, Hotels.com may offer enticing opportunities to save. To explore discounted hotel options, visit the DealsOpens in a new window section, where you could find attractive rates. By checking the Last-Minute Deals area, you're more likely to see special promotions as your travel date nears. The Hotels.com app also features Smart Shopping , a comparison tool that helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you stay informed if rooms become available or if prices drop.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Miami hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Miami's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more likely affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those eager to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
