The place was like a hipster summer camp! We loved our cozy glamping tent! The bed with the heated blanket was the most heavenly sleep ever. The tents are decently apart from each other, but don’t expect somewhere with complete privacy. Communal showers were kept very clean and were very modern. Loved the two options: chic & tiled or rustic with an open ceiling view of the redwoods. The private fire pit and grill were a huge plus. They also have plenty of firewood on-site for purchase, reasonably priced considering the convenience. I can’t wait to come back and stay more nights!

Always wanted to try the glamping experience and all expectations were met and then some. The setting was lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, the tents were totally charming and the chill in the air meant we almost had the place to ourselves—definitely a highlight of our vacation.

As my girlfriend put it ... "gla-mping" at its best. Our tent was spacious. The facilities were impeccably clean. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly. We hope to get another opportunity to stay here.

This property was just as described. I would have rated it higher, but our little safari tent was very far from the centrally located shower/bathroom area. We paid extra for the "partial" ocean view at the expense of bathroom convenience. They should build more bathroom areas to make it more comfortable for the tents in the outer areas. The bed frame didn't really have a headboard, so our pillows kept falling off the bed which was annoying and made reading in bed difficult. Otherwise, the staff was great and the little fruit and yogurt breakfast was nice. We will probably return sometime.

We had a totally comfortable stay at Mendocino Grove. It is a beautiful campsite and even the surroundings are spectacular. The tent was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. We had taken food to BBQ so did not have to leave the campsite, they provide a very healthy breakfast, BBQ grill and fire pits. A very quiet, serene and peaceful atmosphere. Rented a canoe from the shop close by and they had reasonable rates. Met with the owner Teresa who was very friendly and wanted to provide the best camping experience for customers. We had a great 'Glamping' experience and worth 5 stars. Must try!!
