Old but located in a central location in Emerald

We stayed at this motel because it was the closest accommodation to an event we were attending in Emerald. For one night, it was fine, and not overpriced. However, it is an old motel and in dire need of renovation. The exterior and gardens also require some TLC also and none of the photos actually reflect the true appearance of the motel. The bed was comfy and the air conditioner worked a treat. We received good communication from the staff prior to our stay with accurate instructions detailing the check in process.

The Emerald Central Hotel is in the throes of updating. At the moment it is still a little tired. But the bed was comfortable,the shower hot, and it was very convenient to shops.

It is not a hotel.but a motel with no bar or Bar food. Bedhead lights don’t work.Clock radio u/s . Window curtains too long.Bathroom light switch cover broken.Fridge door shelf rail missing. No meals available with the bar/eating area closed up. How does it get the name “hotel” ?

Staff were great but property in need of TLC. Had issues with other guests smoking out side room. Due to door gaps smell pervaded room. I thought there was a law that said you couldn’t smoke within a 10 m of a building entrance??

Comfortable stay

Having a family of 5 often means that we are all quite close together in one room. At the Emerald Central Motel we were given adjoining rooms, which meant we were able to spread out. (Having two bathrooms was quite a treat too!) The beds were all very comfortable and the block out curtains meant we were able to have a welcomed sleep in. A continental breakfast was included in the price, which was very much appreciated. If you are looking for high-end finishes, this may not be the place for you, but if you're after a comfortable place to rest your weary head , the Emerald Central Motel will suit you fine.
