Our stay started out poorly. We were instructed to meet a representative at a Starbucks to receive a key to our unit. After45 min.and several text messages we were asked to go to the"hotel"and wait for the rep. Again we waited 45 minutes with text messages until the security guard escorted us to the elevator to go to our unit. Unit was unlocked with keys on the table. Could have saved allot of frustration and time if we could of just gone to the site originally. Only two hand towels and washcloths for four people (bath towels were fine). We texted them with towel request and was told they would bring them the next morning. Texted them next day with same request they didn't show up -never heard back. The communication was very maddening. On the positive side was that it was a lovely unit with a great view. A very secure condo building with full time residents, security guard. The location is perfect, close to bus lines, restaurants and right across from Nordstrom.

Communication with property management was excellent from start to finish. I called multiple times as I had questions and they were able to assist me. Check-in was easy was not able to check in early but I knew that ahead of time. Overall cleanliness of the suite was exceptional. Amenities not so much we did not have enough blankets, towels, pillows or shampoo (luckily I brought my own) Location was perfect since we Uber / Lyft everywhere. My favorite part has to be the VIEW! I’d definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again. Thanks!

SOOOOO NOISY
Great location and parking but not one good nights sleep! Construction noise begins at 4am daily - even weekends! Trolleys, activity at director park, street cleaning - you can hear it all. People across the hall had a dog that barked for an entire evening non stop. Great to have parking and clean apartment but wouldn’t recommend if you want to sleep past 4am or through the night.

Great location!
Very nice place, in a fantastic location. I was a bit worried when I got a precheck-in email asking for a lot of personal info. But everything worked out fine, and we really enjoyed the place.

Condo in downtown Portland
Stayed at the furnished condo in downtown Portland. Located near train, restaurants, and shopping. Condo has 2 BR/2BA, but 1 TV. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to prepare meals. Grocery stores are nearby. Would stay again if in the area. Can't comment on parking as we didn't have a car.

Awesome location, hard to book.
Overall, our stay was incredible! The "hotel" is really a condo, and a very nice one at that! Our view was amazing, the unit was clean and very comfortable, and we were within walking distance or could Uber anywhere we needed to go! We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and even a small kitchen - which was perfect for our stay! Booking the room was very hard, because this is not a traditional "hotel" - so there was a lot of back and forth with the agency that manages the unit. After that, we met with Miranda when we arrived (she was SO wonderful!), got our key, and the rest of the stay was fantastic! I will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Portland, this is much nicer than any hotel!

Apartment nice. Booking reps/Communication awful.
Confirmation from the property took months to receive and then didn't contain the booked dates (which I found out later they had entered incorrectly in their system). They require multiple forms filled out and emailed or texted copies of your identification and credit card, and if you tell them you think that's not a secure idea, they tell you to look up their rating online to see that the policy doesn't bother most people. The apartment itself was clean and orderly. Some nice to haves that were not there: salt and pepper; dishwashing liquid, cable or antenna TV (Roiku TV is what is there, so bring your Netflix, Hulu, etc passwords if you want to watch anything.) Wifi service was good in the living room/dining room, but weak in the bedrooms.

Great location!
Location is amazing. Walking distance to just about all the main attractions downtown Portland has to offer. The building and apartment is in fantastic shape and we truly felt like VIPs. The views were AMAZING. The only downside were the beds/sofa couches, everyone didn't have the best sleep. Maybe upgrade to better mattresses?

2/10 Poor

The location is great but NOT worth the hassle
Holy cow, was this experience ever a doozy. The "staff" was indescribably awful at every step of the way and I can't even begin to count the ways, but I'll try: 1. Before ever arriving, I received something like a dozen and a half emails with contradicting instructions, literally 8 different phone numbers, and insufficient information on very important things (like parking). They requested things that were insecure and unprofessional (photos of my ID and credit card) in spite of the fact that I prepaid. 2. The night before our trip, I receive a text from a number they never mentioned in their mails from a person whose name was mentioned one time in one email - she instructed me to do something completely different from what the emails said to do (and they said it in big, bold, red, highlighted text). 3. "Check in time" was 3 PM, which meant meeting aforementioned person at a Starbucks at 3. We were there fifteen minutes early and this staff member showed up AN HOUR late while we waited confused but patient. We got NO apology, not even a sorry, let alone comped for our lost time in the unit. The checkin itself was laborious and took way too long. 4. Parking was a mess. We were given a pass for the garage, NO other info. Hours after parking, I get a condescending, accusatory text and voicemail telling me I'm about to be towed. Then after moving our vehicle, the staff proceeds to argue with me over text like a teenager. 5. The unit itself was mediocre. Avoid this place.

Convenient location and modern accommodations
Nice area to stay in. It's close to everything. While the condo was mostly great, it could use a couple of luggage racks. The building also has a nice gym if that's your thing. There are lots of amazing restaurants and shopping close by. You can definitely get away with no car as everything is easily accessible either by walking or with public transportation.

Great condo in the Heart of Portland
We loved our stay here. We were right in the middle of all the action in Downtown Portland and could walk to events, shopping and bars/restaurants. The condo was amazing with incredible downtown views. We loved to modern design. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to Portland.

Convenient and fancy apartment!
Convenient. Super fancy apartment. All our colleagues were jealous, as their hotel rooms were small with tiny bathrooms - and we had this ultra modern apartment with 2 baths. I was just a little disappointed with the queen bedroom though. It was right off the living room with a sliding door only. Bed comfortable, but no dresser for clothes or for where to put all my stuff. Had to pile it up on floor. There was a closet to hang clothes though. Small queen bedroom with no windows, whereas the master bedroom was huge with 2 walls of windows. Just a strange design -- nothing wrong with the apartment otherwise. Fast service when I called the site manager, in terms of supplying extra linens for our 3rd person. Fast service when the smoke detector suddenly started chirping one early morning.

Impressive space. To be clear, this is not a hotel. This is a private owned condo that's managed through a company.

A different experience.
I would not recommend this rental. I have 7 text and 6 emails from them just checking on us while we were there. And they called my cell phone as well. But i have to say that they did have reason. For the price I was so disappointed. I took my daughters for a fun weekend. We were there 3 nights and we got 3 coffee filter and no coffee. Some one before us left some salt and pepper. I can go on and on but what is the point now. Just beware! One more thing. You are treated as a second class citizen the whole time you are there. You are so many rules to follow and the concierge is a real treat. You can't even stand inside the door to wait for a taxi while it is raining. No be anywhere around the tenants. Well how can that be helped when we all stay in the same building. And then to have dogs all over and dog poop and pee on the carpets in the hallway. Okay I will stop now.

Great downtown location
Other reviewer complained about so many forms to fill out, sign, then copies of ID and credit card, I have to agree, that's really too much. I stayed 3 nights, need a parking spot, but parking charged for 4 days "because that's the way it works". Everything was charged way before the stay, they really want to make sure they get their money I guess. Multiple emails asked me about arrival time, I said multiple times I will arrive at 2pm. Nobody told me, the check in was at 3pm, we can't let you in at 2pm. So I thought 2pm was ok. Guess what, no! If somebody said something, I would have gone to lunch for example before try to get in. At 2pm, nobody answered phone. Finally somebody answered, said will get back to me, but no... Anyways, definitely not happy about that. After checked in, I liked the place. Things are new and clean. At night, it's not very quiet to sleep, because downtown never sleeps. One morning, around 7am, people were outside of the window working on something!

Pelican Suite
The suite is in a very good location in Portland and the view is great. However, only the basics are provided. There are no chests of drawers to put your clothing or other items if you are staying a few days. There are not even luggage holders. We had to put our bags on the floor and take items out as we needed them. The staff that met us on arrival was very helpful. Be very careful that nothing is at all marked or you will be charged an exorbitant amount, even if the spot or dirt is easily cleaned out. There are extra fees that do not make the overall cost as attractive on first glance

Should have stayed at a hotel
Before even getting on site, I had already regretted staying at this place. The procedure to stay here was way more complicated than anywhere else. There were two forms totalling four pages that needed to be signed. Even after providing credit card info, they wanted me to *email* pics of my ID and CC. Anyone who has had their email hacked knows what a terrible idea this is; anyone who deals with PCI compliance knows this is not allowed by credit card companies. I received a total of 12 text messages from two different people, one phone call, and I don't know how many emails. It's important to have good communications, but at some point it becomes nagging. There are a ton of rules about this place you find out about after selecting it on Expedia. If you have a normal stay and everything goes as expected, you'll be fine, but I wouldn't want to deal with them if something goes wrong. Expect to get kicked out and pay an exorbitant fee if you are too loud. Pay a fee if you lose a key fob, parking permit, a key, break anything, or if you check in after 9pm. About 95% of the stuff there is from Ikea. Looks great in photos, but not very comfortable. The TV is streaming only. There are major network channels, just not local. The TV also has problems with audio - after it plays a commercial, the audio is out of sync with the video. Just plan on doing so many of the great things you can do in Portland instead of watching TV. :-) Much more to say, but out of space!
