Beautiful, beautiful setting, which made the experience as pleasant as it was. At check-in we were told that we'd need to change rooms the next day (we were only there for 2 nights). We said we didn't want that, so were given the same room for the two days, but it didn't have the jetted tub we had received. We set the garbage can outside the door and hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign, but found cleaning staff in the room upon returning from a walk.
Staff were very pleasant, generally, and the sauna and massages we arranged were restorative. The meals were tasty and the cream of asparagus soup was delicious; however, it would've been nice to have had more vegetarian choices.
Conversation and sounds from the rooms on either side of us could be pretty easily heard. It was nice and quiet overnight, which allowed for a peaceful sleep.
The bed was comfortable and the television worked well. Internet was difficult sometimes. The room was a bit too dim for us, despite the window and ceiling lights. As I said, though, the beautiful grounds and the mountains directly across from Las Cumbres were worth the trip.
