The igloo hotel was an amazing experience! It was as cool as it looks (literally and figuratively). I was pleasantly surprised how well I slept in the igloo in spite of the fact that I have difficulty sleeping regularly. As long as you wear a lot of layers you'll be fine. I wore 2 pairs of wool socks, long underwear, pj pants, thermal shirt, hoodie, gloves, and a thin down jacket and was fine. The main downside of the hotel is just that the main "living room" area is very small. We got there late in the afternoon and went on the lights safari while we were there, and dog sledding early the next day, but if we had more time to spend at the hotel it would have been less than ideal. There's nothing really in the area so I'd highly recommend getting out and doing activities anyway though.
