This charming old hotel is located in the heart of the historic town center of Merida without breaking the bank. Convenient parking two doors away and a small pool to cool off after a hot day. Enjoyed four days at this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

Room and location excellent. Parking is available off side and it's not free of charge. Would be good if hotel would have informed about the parking address in advance.

8/10 Very good

It is well located, with restaurant options in the area. If you have a car, consider that parking is not at the hotel. We used it on our last night and it worked well for us.

We got a room that looked unfinished as the floor didn’t have tiles. (Room 100), but we didn’t mind. the receptionist man never smiled nor welcomed us in. He was in a bad mood. However the man in the morning was the opposite. He was friendly and helpful. We even bought a nice lunch and surprised him! The area is loud since it is where the route of the horse rides.

The Hotel is very well located two blocks fron the main square of Merida. It is old but well kept. The pool is very small however it is useful after a day of walking in Merida downtown.

Convient location, good value, helpful staff. Could use some touch ups (e.g.uneven tiles in the halls).
Donna, 2-night trip

This colonial style hotel has character! We loved our balcony in room 319 that overlooked the street! We were a 5 minute walk to the Gran Plaza, 5 minutes to the restaurant Chaya Maya, a 10 minute walk to the giant city market, and about a 20 minute walk to Paseo De Montejo and Parque De La Plancha! We enjoyed cooling off in the aberca/picina/pool! It was about 5 feet deep and 20 feet long. The room had a mini fridge that we kept stocked with cold drinks and there was a lot of stores and restaurants all around us! We enjoyed the hotel’s excellent coffee shop, but never did try their restaurant. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and smiled a lot. Thanks to everyone! Muchas gracias todos! 4/10 Fair

Liked the location. Did not like lack of elevator; although only two floors stairs very inconvenient. Lack of good lighting in bathroom. Terribly noisy rooms.

We arrived during the Hurricane Milton. Unfortunately the communication from the hotel in advance was very poor. We arrived and everything was closed and we were not able to buy any food or drinks nor the hotel could support us. They showed us a paper on the desk but at that point it was already too late. We understand that it was not their fault that everything is closed, but if we would have the info in advance we could at least buy drinks and food before we arrive. All in all was the stay very disappointing. Never again.
Dagmar, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Worst service in Merida!

Heat in Merida is high. Well, the only AC in the room didnt cool at all. Never fixed it, just offered to downgrade our room. Even asked for a fan and said no because the receptionist uses it. Parking available in the hotel is pure BS. The closest one is block and a half away and you have to pay extra for it. When complaining to Hotels.com they gave no solution at all. Horrible experience. Spend a little bit more and stay at a much better place.
Fer, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room failed to meet expectations on multiple fronts – not only did it lack furniture, but the sheets and pillowcases were stained. To compound matters, the phone was nonfunctional, we had to navigate the TV using two remotes. Moreover, the absence of a mosquito net on the small bathroom window resulted in an uncomfortable encounter with mosquitos. Faced with these issues, we made the decision to switch hotels after enduring two nights of inconvenience.
