We would return.
Our room was very comfortable and it we had chosen to prepare our own meals, there was adequate facilities to do so. We felt welcome and were offered daily towel exchanges if wanted. The view over the salt water marsh towards the beach was great, especially at sunrise. It appears to be a very well run business.

Great view. We had a little room /almost a cabin with kitchenette. It was small but everything was there , the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Perfect for our weekend road trip!

Basic 1970’s era motel
I was a bit surprised that this is essentially a 1970’s era motel. Very basic rooms. No housekeeping but you can get daily towel exchange. Must wash your own dishes when leaving or you will be fined (no dishwasher - I washed my dishes and utensils before using them just in case previous guests didn’t). Not close to the beach, there is a swamp between the beach and the motel. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, just ordinary.

Clean, no frills accommodations
My daughter and I stayed at The Garrison for two nights. The accommodations were good- room was clean, beds were not very comfortable with dip in mattress and paper thin pillows. Could definitely use updating but for no frills it served its purpose. There is no in room service. Clean towels, soap, etc. is left outside the room if requested. Outside grounds are well maintained and pool area was clean. Would stay again but probably bring pillows.

Overnight stay was fine flat pillows,trouble with tv.Mentioned water view maybe if they trimmed or replaced the overgrown shrubbery we could have enjoyed it better.Room darking shades would have been nice for sleeping and privacy.

The view is beautiful however the room was terrible! The carpet was folded up in numerous areas easy to trip on! Very outdated fixtures! Bathtub did not drain as you took a shower very gross! Mold on the small deck from leaking air conditioner! Overall terrible room.

This place was very convenient and offered a lovely view out onto the ocean. We only stayed a night so we did not use the pool, but it was very inviting. The room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. The beds were too soft but the pillows were comfy.

Clean, no frills accommodations
The Garrison has well maintained grounds, an outdoor pool, and rooms were clean but could use some updating. Friendly staff. Comfort was issue- one air conditioner to cool sitting area and bedroom. In order to have any cool air reach the bedroom, the air conditioner had to be turned up full blast and then it was too cold to sit. The tv’s were small, especially the one in the bedroom which was about 13”. Not a deal breaker for me but my husband wasn’t happy. Overall, the place wasn’t bad and we’d stay at The Garrison again, but would choose a different type of room with better air.
