Stunning view on the gulf.
We had the quadruple occupancy room at the top floor with a private bathroom and an absolutely stunning view on the gulf. Daniela was a very friendly and caring host, ensuring we had a very pleasant stay in every respect. Free parking in a very quiet street was a bonus.

La Spezia Guest House to hike Cinque Terre.
The owner, Daniela, was so nice and helpful. Such a lovely host, kind and very friendly. The upstairs apartment was very spacious with a partitioned large bedroom and a twin bed in the common room. Huge bathroom. The shower is a wand in the bathtub with no curtain. For people with diminished mobility, taking a shower is a little tricky to prevent water all over the bathroom. Amazing view of La Spezia on the patio with a table and chairs. Parking is on the street and getting there is a little bit of a challenge, but the view is spectacular.

Staying at this property was one of the few occassions that we felt we're staying at our best friends' home rather than a hotel. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood on a hill with beautiful view of the harbor. The room is supper clean, comfortable, with access to a spacious and well equipped dining space. Moreover, what impressed us the most is the friendly, kind and generous host. We will definely come back to the property for future trip.

The property was very clean and very well kept. Everything was modern and functioned like it should. The view was very nice, overlooking the harbor of La Spezia. At night it was beautiful with town lit up and the mountains in the background. I only stayed for 2 nights but it was nice and quiet for those nights. It's a little far from town, so there's not much traffic and no nightlife to keep you up. Getting into town does require a car or relying on a taxi, which can be expensive in La Spezia. That is the only drawback to this location, but I knew that when I booked so it wasn't a surprise. Also the La Spezia taxi service runs 24 hrs a day and all you have to do is call and they are pretty prompt. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for some peace and quiet and either have a car or are willing to pay for a taxi (La Spezia is one of the most expensive taxi locations in Italy). Prices are metered and it generally cost anywhere between 10 - 20 Euros each trip... something to keep in mind

Great location with gorgeous views and the room had everything we hoped for. The host Daniela was so sweet and welcoming. She is a great resource for figuring out what to see and how to see it. Easy access to cinque terre and the town of La spezia. Outstanding pizzeria right up the hill. Only gripe, make sure to check if the room you are booking has a stand up shower (not just a tub with a spray nozzle).

Amazing view and a great host
Excellent room for a stay in the region. There's a great view from the room and the terrasse of the city and the surroundings. Everything is extremely clean.
The host is super friendly and takes time to share her knowledge of the region.
One thing to take note of is that a car is highly recommended to access the property otherwise it must be a bit long to walk to the city center (train station, port). Only a (very nice) restaurant is located nearby (5min walk)

Really nice place to stay in La Spezia
I only stayed there with my wife and two kids for one night to go to Cinque Terre the following day. I would stay there again. The owner waited for us until midnight for the check in she was very kind and gave us some recommendations for our day in Cinque Terre. Breakfast was served in a nearby restaurant, very basic only coffee and croissants.

It really is a window on the Gulf!
This brand new place is beautiful and well-tended. The owners are lovely and their English is better than they think. You need to be ready to do stairs! The breakfast place is off-site and the access is most easily accomplished by stairs, up and down.

Good for the money
This was a great B&B in La Spezia which is the key to get to Cinque Terre. The owners, Daniella and her husband were great. They kept the place very clean. You need a car though to get there. Street parking was not a problem. The place was not far from the train station.
