My night at American Inn and Suites
Well, sheets were stained, no toilet paper holder for the toilet paper, one bed had a huge hole/dip in the mattress, smoke alarm was not present, and no hangers to hang clothes. Atleast the desk clerk was friendly, the heater worked and the shower had decent pressure.

Location near the highway is excellent. The advertised 'breakfast',was only a cup of coffee. The evening staff person was excellent, the difficult to understand morning lady response to our Expedia advertised breakfast note only by saying "Coffee only". We didn't bother to ask any more questions and walked out.

If smart choose a different hotel in the area
I have been to alot of hotels in the last two years and this is the worst one ever, the room looked like a drug deal went bad, holes in the wall, bathroom door was not able to be locked due to it was busted into from the outside of the bathroom, seen many signs of bedbugs the next morning and I have the pics to prove everything I have stated

Nasty. Don’t stay here.
The hotel is old and needs updating. The lamp shades were warped and melted looking. There was barf of the curtains. The tv was broken. And the sheets were covered in stains. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

There was nothing in particular I liked. The place was overpriced, had no coffee and only one towel. I paid cash plus a $50 cash deposite which I forgot about until it was too late to go back but that’s my fault. If the hotel sends me the $50 back I would have something nice to say about it but that’s not likely.

What a dump! A complete sh#thole! Drunks in the parking lot which doubled as the front porch. BBQ grill we’re going, looked like hillbilly heaven. Didn’t feel safe and figured I might get mugged and my car would certainly get broken into! Requested a refund but was denied!

A used bar of soap was left in the sink. The toilet was not fully attached to the floor, so every time it was it would make a very loud noise, and sway. The freezer on the mini frige door was missing and iced over.

We couldn't get in the first room. The second room, heater want working properly, small teddy bear in the floor, used corn dog stick in the room, TV screen had been shattered by the remote control, remote control was busted up. The third room was fine.

The mirror on the bathroom had a big crack across it. The floor had dead crickets. The floor was also dirty, probably from people tracking in grit from the parking lot. Had to wear socks, or feet would turn black on bottom. The good thing, was the AC worked, the bed was fairly comfortable, and the water was hot.

They may have cleaned up the exterior and lobby but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Cruddy and filthy. Rickety stained chair. Burn holes in bedspread. Holes in drapes. Door lock was very weak and instilled no confidence for safety. Do NOT recommend unless you just want a cheap room and a bed to sleep in.

Convenient but dated.
OLD. Motel style with parking in front of room. We needed two beds, a toilet, and a shower for a one-night stay. It met our needs. Smoke detector was off the wall and on the dresser. Furniture was well used. Lock on door worked but LED lights on lock did not. Bedding and towels mediocre at best. Towels not fully stocked at check in. Okay water pressure. Microwave was small. No coffee maker. Did not use microwave or standard mini fridge. A/C was noisy but cooled adequately. Room was clean and had newer LVT flooring but definitely showed its age. Bathroom and shower clean with recent decor and fixture update. Booked on short notice for eclipse viewing in nearby Hugo, Oklahoma. Price was extreme for value received. But this motel was the best still available port in the storm of overpriced accommodations in the path of the eclipse. Would not stay there again.
