Few nights in Rome

It is nice hotel not to far from Train station and Piazza de la Republica it’s a walking distance Breakfast was great I will not recommend restaurant close to hotel —Babbos The owner of that restaurant is rude. Room was to the street and could be noisy d/t garbage picking up around 4 am but other way was quiet
Ewa, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

Super.

We were welcomed by the friendly staff at the front desk. Room was small, but very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Our stay was perfect, even for only one night in Rome. It's close to Roma Termini and has cosy restaurants nearby.
June, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The breakfast was excellent. The room and the bathroom are very small. There is no room to hang your clothes while taking a shower, no curtain in the shower.
igor, 3-night trip

Close to train station. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was only okay.
Janice, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Nice staff and close to termini. The big problem was that the room was 27 C at night (it was colder outdoors) and the AC was turned off. We asked for a fan but they didnt have one. Decent breakfast
Nima, 2-night trip

Everything was superb. Bath was a little uncomfortable. A shower enclosure would have been great.
Luis, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

The bed was a rock ,very noisy, and room wasn’t very clean. The room was small, no hot water for several hours, and area wasn’t very nice. I just wouldn’t recommend.
Toby, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely hotel and even better for the price. Friendly staff, clean hotel. Very typically Italian decor. Has all the facilities you might need, including a hair dryer in the end suite and a fridge in the room. The only negative is it can be very noisy at night if you have a room on the Main Street. So maybe bring earplugs! However, once all of the shops and restaurants have closed for the night (normally by about 1am). It’s fine. Very convenient for Termini Station and all of the main attractions are walkable (within 30 minutes). Lovely stay at a lovely hotel.
Eleanor, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Rooms have granite and travertine floor, design is great, but the bathroom is too small
Irina, 1-night trip

Regio rates!

Location very good for our short stay in Rome; sightseeing and Ryder Cup Golf. Within 10 minute walk to main train station and metro if required, (needed for the golf). Friendly restaurants on doorstep. The towels could have been better and a lightbulb needed changing in the room. Otherwise comfortable base.
helen, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location, close to metro. Good breakfast (brioches are average) Terrible bathroom: during shower, water floods the entire bathroom. No bidet. On back of hotel there is a restaurant... all fried oil smoke arrives to windows of the room (e.g. room 104, 204 etc...)
Francesco, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The Hotel Regio was a perfect choice for a seven night stay in Rome: in a great location, close to the Termini Railway Station and main bus terminus, but outside the main tourist centre, in an area that had a more authentic feel to it and with many local trattoria and restaurants that offered great value and seemed to be popular with locals. The hotel itself is a fairly large hotel, nicely decorated, well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. We were allocated a room overlooking the street, which we thought might be noisy but was surprisingly quiet, even in the day. The room was large with plenty of storage space and cleaned every day and we slept soundly every night (perhaps helped by the fact that we walked all over the city). There was a lot of variety at breakfast - we loved the croissants and bakery goods - and, even though there were some large groups staying at the hotel, the breakfast area covers four or five rooms, so there was always plenty of space. What sets the hotel apart are all of its staff, who could offer a masterclass in customer service; consistently helpful, accommodating, and offering a friendly smile and greeting whenever we came and went during our stay. I wouldn’t have any recommendation in recommending the Hotel Regio for anyone looking for a good mid-range hotel in the city and a convenient base for exploring Rome. We look forward to returning!
