Nice for the price
The hotel was nice for the price. But some floors were un finished and just had drywall and the outdoor pool was dirty. We found a bunch of black specs on the sheets. When I googled it they said it was beg bug poop. They also don’t have tubes for the lazy river as advertised.

Update on Hotel Condition
Overall stay was good, however I would highly recommend that hotels provide their current condition to the website. The hotel was going through a refurbishment (replacing carpet, elevators were broken, etc)

Good stay!
The hotel is undergoing renovations and was very up front about it from the moment we checked in. All the staff we met were great and answered all our questions. The lazy river and pool were on the cool side and the hot tub was cool, but as the days went by it was getting worked on and getting warmer and warmer. It was a nice stay!

Do Not stay here 01/09/25
Recently purchased by Choice Hotels. Currently under renovation, was not mentioned on Hotel.com website. Took to hours to get i to our room. Tried two different set of keys to get into room 414, unsuccessful. Then got move to room 614, front desk clerk went with us to the room. No main lights working in the room and exposed electrical boxes and tub spout was leaking. So we waited in the room with our luggage while front desk clerk went back down to switch out the keys for another room. Clerk came back to get us stating she had check rooms out and 630 is good to go so we move again. Got into the room and settled in for the night (2am now) and then noticed hairs all over the sink and water had leak under the sink so the room had not been cleaned or not cleaned well. So tired and mad we just went to bed and try to get some sleep. There is also a nasty smell in the air as you walk through the hallways and the rooms. How is the places even in business??? Should be shut down until ready to open at Comfort Inn. This ruined my opinion of what a Comfort Inn should be like and all other Choice Hotel brands. If we would have check in hours earlier than 12am we would have left and went somewhere else. Totally unacceptable. I want my money back. HOTEL.COM app will not allow me to upload photos of this stay.

Shotty but bed bug free
There’s no breakfast. It’s a shotty hotel only good thing about it is it does not have bed bugs. The lazy river was heated but slightly and it does have a cool pool. The first room they put us in was under repairs so we had to switch and that only down graded us in a room to a smaller bathtub. It has heated bathrooms. Service was just okay. If you want a bedbug free place and don’t care about broken beds that sag and don’t care about the looks for a hotel this is the right place for you but if your looking for luxury and nice looking hotel don’t go here

Don’t stay here
Hotels.com should take this motel off their list of hotel that they offer. This motel is under construction and they are concerned with the hallways and other areas. When they need to be working in the actual rooms. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, material on base is bed was torn and worn out. No coffee filter for the coffee pot, and mo coffee in the lobby, no ice bucket. The hallway had not been vacuumed. The carpet in the room was stained and worn out. The breakfast room was closed due construction. But they do not tell you this unless you ask and suggest you go to the restaurant that is within walking district at a cost of $40 for two! The best thing about this motel was the $40 breakfast at the restaurant! Don’t stay here. There are motels for the same $$ in much better condition

Just so-so…
Great location and friendly front desk staff are the positives. Property is old and being remodeled slowly. Room was old with mold/mildew in the bathroom pretty bad. A couple of stink bugs but no roaches or bed bugs. Biggest issue was the hot water was dangerously hot. Be careful with children. Just the slightest adjustment of the faucets towards the warm side resulted in scalding hot water. We did report this to the front desk.

Not the best place to stay
The sheets didn’t feel clean. The bathroom door was damaged due to animal scratchings. The shower faucet had a constant leak of hot water which could always be heard. The room simply didn’t smell clean.
