The place of this hotel
It's difficult for me to find this hotel. Because the hotels's location in the map is maybe not correct.

Probably the worst hostel I've been
No signage, only a nice local man that tells you in mandarin it's in an alley. No details as to how to check in, you'll see a locked gate when you get there. Woman's dorm is in the basement, 1 bathroom is shared with 4 people. Toilet and shower not separated, very wet everytime someone takes a shower. Staff won't tell you about the poor drainage and how to work around it until you ask. And the only venting window is visible to the busy scooter parking lot. The frame of the lower bunk is full of dust, and I found 2 ticks jumping on my bed. No hot drinking water unless you pay a deposit to borrow their kettle. I'm a light sleeper, there's so much noise from within the building, the roomies, and outside that I never had a good sleep on my very very hard "bed" (more like a wooden board) for the 3 nights I was there. I really regret booking this hostel over the other which is about the same price. I would not recommend anyone to book this place.

Clean but definitively not the best comfort
I was pretty disappointed with this facility. Yes, the rooms were clean and the WiFi worked very well, but the bed was way to hard and it as very short for a "normal" sized european. I am ~6 feet tall and could not sleep straight in this bed. Also our room was located in the basement which meant that you did not get any sunlight in the morning or any other hint if the sun rose already. Moreover, I find their policy strange that you are only allowed to control the AC after a certain time in the late evening.

Secret yet convenient location
Difficult to find at first but it's ok. Like a secret location which can be quite fun. I was there when the typhoon came, staff was really nice and gave free instant noodles. Even allowed late check out and helped to check train schedules. Located nearby the historical attractions. Can be easily reached by walking.

Really bad intermittent wifi, weird smell and pretty difficult to locate as it is at the end of an inconspicuous alley. Decor is great though.

Great location near bus and train station
The environment is quiet and nice shopping mall nearby.
I highly recommend this hotel for those who want security and privacy because only residents are allowed to go inside.
The staff are nice through out my two nights stay. I got a map from them with the major tourist attractions. The hotel is near the 99 and 14 bus stop where you could directly travel to the attractions you like. Only 10 minutes walk takes you to the train station.
I appreciate the awsome design of hotel.
The clean and tidy room allow me to sleep well.
I will stay in this hotel if i come to Taiwan again.
Disappointed with the service, they lacked empathy.
quite disappointed with the service. I arrived before the check in time and was willing to wait. It was raining the whole day and I was drenched and miserable and looking forward to a cosy place to rest. However when I arrived they said I can't wait inside because they are cleaning up. I asked don't you have a common room that I could wait in? They said it was also under cleaning. I think you don't have to be dogmatic about such stuff. When the customer is wet and miserable the least you could do was to let them in. The place outside was very narrow and hardly ideal to escape the rain. I couldn't believe they would do that so even after i finally checked in later so I decided I won't stay at this place. in the end I went to another place to stay.

A very nice guesthouse
I highly recomment this guesthouse.
It was perfect for my single stay, 2 nights.
I had a shared male room in the lower floor.
It has bunk beds and a shower room, all in good condition.
There is a computer room on that level, too.
The staff were all super welcoming, friendly and helpful.
It is a little hard to find, print or find a map on your phone in advance.
Would stay here again for sure!
