This property has always been a favorite place for me to visit. The staff is excellent and I was thrilled where the bartender remembered my name, which is difficult to pronounce. I felt relaxed and safe. I liked the space that my suits offered at the Brisas. My only regreet is that there was no fridge. However, this did not prevent me from returning on my next trip to Puerto Viejo.

We are a retired couple. Banana Azul’s staff couldn’t have been more accommodating throughout our stay. On a daily basis many staff members restated their desire to provide whatever we desired and to make our stay even more enjoyable. Morning coffee set up just outside our cottage & a full complimentary breakfast of choices was fantastic. They even offer laundry services. We loved our visit and hope to return.

The place was beautiful and relaxing and the staff were very nice and friendly. What I didn't like was how some of the rooms had AC and a TV and others didn't and there was no form of entertainment. The food was excellent but I felt there should be more than one meal included in your stay not just breakfast and if breakfast was the only meal included you should not have to pay extra for more.
