Do not turn up early!

We turned up earlier than planned at around 12:30pm. After staying 5 times previously we did not expect the welcome that we received. We were told that they would message us when a room became available (with a smug look on the receptionists face). A lie! Could not check in until 1 min past 2:00pm. We had come back from a walk and just waited in the restaurant. Honestly just tell the truth or allow an early check in when the rooms were "clearly" cleaned and available; especially given that we always check out early. Some business sense would be very good. We will have second thoughts about going back again due to how we were treated.

We stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. The rooms were nice, comfortable and had all amenities we needed for our trip with breakfast included. The location was good within walking distance to everything and a 40 minute drive from the snow fields. Staff were friendly, the restaurant was good and parking was easy.
