It was decent for a Motel 6 but the floor in the room was pretty nasty and so was the lining of the tub. You can tell they don't do any deep cleaning

Great stay
We have stayed at this motel 6 many times when we go to Joshua tree national park. It is inexpensive but clean, allows dogs, beds are comfortable and sheets are quality cotton. The shower is strong and consistent, and there is no weird cleaner smell or tobacco smell. I have never seen bugs of any kind and the surrounding area is safe with lots of dining options.

Mysterious seeping liquid….
This was one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotel rooms. Upon walking in, my sister noticed her shoes sticking to the floor, and shortly after that she noticed a pool of ‘water’. We thought perhaps housekeeping had recently mopped and didn’t get all the water up. That assessment proved untrue as soon as we wiped up the puddle with a towel and saw how black it got. Then when we were crawling into bed we saw another puddle of something seeping from under the nightstand. Needless to say, it was extremely disgusting. Maybe if Motel 6 was still $6/night we would have overlooked it, but for $125 I think it deserves a calling out.

This was a nice Motel 6, that was safe and comfortable. It was near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and it was dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and the staff was very friendly.

All facilities are old, need renovations
Staff are nice. However, there was this weird smell in the room that wouldn't go away. The beds were so dirty, it was uncomfortable. There were food crumbs, hair, and even a dead bug on the blankets, and the sheets felt sandy and had black stains. Every single one of the towels had black and yellow stains on them. I probably got dirtier when drying myself after a shower. The entire room was disgusting. Toilet whistles after each flush. All washers and dryers in laundry are out of order!
