We stayed here for a weekend trip to Vail. The hotel is comfortable and well maintained. The staff is friendly. Its around 30 mins from Vail ski resort.

It wasn't awful but it wasn't good. It was mostly clean. But found stains on the sheets. Mostly clean dishes in dishwasher. a broken knife - only a cheap blade that had spotted rust. bathroom was clean, the room was warm and comfortable. Was grateful for a place to stay, could have been worse.

We love having the small kitchen in our room. This is our second visit to this hotel and it looks cleaner and more updated than our last visit. Overall, we would stay here again. Minor issues would be having the air conditioner right by the head of our beds. We tried opening our window but the highway is right outside and noisy.

older hotel in need of cleaning and update
The Greentree is older hotel in need of better cleaning, updating and room redesign. Our room #105 wasn't clean and had an odd layout to try and fit 2 double beds, a kitchenette, small table and 2 chairs. the small tv was mounted low and on the side of one of the beds... not really visible from the bed furthest away. bathroom had cracked tiles and bottom of door was peeling/deteriorating, dirt on the carpet, very low child height toilet. plus side: it had a large refrigerator. Hallways had stained carpeting, odd breakfast room with long dining hall type table, very small lobby area. Understand that "extended stay" type of hotels tend to cut back on their common areas.. but this just didn't feel right.. not worth it despite being one the cheapest hotels available in the Eagle area.. will pay more and stay elsewhere next time.
