"Handy location a short walk from Sky Bus and Southern Cross station. Comfy room and warm shower. Helpful to be able to leave bag before check in and after check out. Big breakfast was very good value. Unfortunately other guests aren’t always considerate about being quiet in the hallways and sometimes it is also possible to hear water running from other rooms when guests flush the toilet or use the shower but otherwise it was quiet for a central location."

For those interested in exploring the city's rich landmarks, history, and culture—including urban shopping, unique architecture, delightful dining, engaging art, family-friendly spots, vibrant business districts, towering skyscrapers, museums, and sports venues—a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate these attractions. This affordable and budget-friendly trip offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for travellers seeking both cultural enrichment and economic efficiency.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Melbourne, head to the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel options near your travel dates. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute offers, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options available. Be the first to know if rooms become available or prices drop for your ideal getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors including the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your Melbourne hotel stay. For those in search of unique accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and occasionally offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
