If you must go, be aware.....
It is time to rewrite the description of this hotel. It is very much in need of an upgrade. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Buffet breakfast was only two slices of toast with a pat of butter and jelly. Coffee or chamomile tea were the only beverages offered. Ants invaded the bathroom while the lamp only worked if it was manually plugged into a wall socket. No one spoke any English but the staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful. Photos are misleading.

The room had no window and I guess the door to the room hadn't been opened in a while, it smelt very stale. On the upside it was a cheap room next to the tica bus station so was ok for a night.

Excellent night's stay
I reserved a room there for my wife and her son. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was excellent. It was quiet and peaceful, and a great stay for the night.

good value option
the hotel was ok, staff was nice, but the main reason I booked the hotel was it was cheap, and they offered airport shuttle. the shuttle should be removed from the listing, as its not offered, I had to take a taxi both ways. I emailed the hotel 2 days early to arrange shuttle from airport, and never got a reply.

Managua stay.
Staffs are helpful. Friendly. Neighbourhood suck. It worth the price. Why they don't provide shampoo and enough shower soap? Overall, everything are fine only if you careful. Don't go out at night.

worse than a motel!
if there is a 0 star, this inn deserves it.there was no hot water at all, found roaches, faucet was unsteady.for i hour there was a brownout/.no back up power.when,i requested to check at 2 pm,since i checked in at 10 pm,female attendant said,i will be charge extra or remove my luggages from the room.i ddint even eat their supposed to be free breakfast at all.just no guest freindly inn.terrible location.even,if the mgmt will offer me complimentary stay next time,i will politely decline it.everyday, they remind me to pay my remaining bill.they charged me extra $2 ,from what was mentioned in the receipt.expedia should remove this merchant from their website.i believed i was the only guest in this inn.

2/10 Poor

Not like their website
This place was a disappointment. It looks nothing like their website. My friend and I were greated at the hotel door by someone asking for money. The entire time we were waiting to check in (a good 5-10 minutes) the person continued to yell at us asking for money. The hotel staff did nothing to try to get the person to leave the property. There was some issue with our booking, but after about 30 minutes we go it settled and paid. We should have taken that opportunity to leave. We seemed to be the only females staying here and the men stared at us like they'd never seen a female before, quite uncomfortable. The rooms are in desperate need of a paint job and the bathroom was covered in hair. Wifi was only in the lobby which would've been fine if I wasn't being stared at by a room full of men the entire time. The men stayed in the lobby talking loudly until past 2 am (I could not tell if it was staff or guests). Although my room was down the hall it was still quite loud. The AC was above the bed and dripped on my head. The only things that were ok about the place was good cable tv, it was in walking distance of the mall/movie theater and a 10 USD cab ride to the airport the next morning (that's without negotiating, the hotel woud call you a cab for 15 USD). It the most expensive and worst place I've stayed in Central and South America.

Good value overall, except for the showers...
Overall, I found this place a good value. The room was clean and comfortable, the a/c and cable TV worked fine, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was served on a tray and plate, not huge but enough and the food was good. Managua is not a great place to visit, to put it mildly, but this hotel is about a 10 minute walk from a major mall. It's not close to any shops or restaurants. However, if you go out the door, turn left, walk to the first major intersection (at least 3 or 4 blocks), turn right, and walk 2 or 3 blocks more, you'll come to an American-style Boston-market-type modern restaurant on your right called Pollo Estrella that's open into the evenings (note - walking in this city after dark is NOT recommended!) They have beer as well, and even take credit cards. By the way, shortly after you turn onto that street, on your right, is a liquor store with a sidewalk counter. The hotel will sell bottles of cold drinkable water - I won't drink tap water in Managua. There's a tiny place across the street where you can get a few snacks, and if you walk out and turn left a block or two, there's a pharmacy on your right. The staff was very helpful in getting taxis for me and giving them directions I needed. (almost no one in this city speaks English) They'll help put you in a cheap cab to UCA (pron. OO-kah) where you can get cheap minibuses to Leon or Granada. If you want a bus to other Central American countries such as Costa Rica, they'll put you in a cab to Ticabus or Transnica. A very special note. I checked out and went to catch a minibus to Leon and right after getting on the bus realized I'd left my money belt, with my passport, in my room! OMG! I quickly cabbed back to the hotel. The staff had already collected it and put it in the safe. No, nothing was missing. They have free internet computers and they do work. And you can direct dial calls to the U.S. on their phone for the equivalent of five cents per minute. Do the math - that works out to only $3 an hour! The one bad spot. The shower. It was awful. The water came out in a very thin trickle from a heavy white plastic electrical water heating thing. I had to stand in it for several minutes just to get wet enough to soap up and at least 10 more minutes to fully rinse myself off, and even then that was possible only with the help of a wash cloth that I soaked in the sink. I discovered that cab drivers don't know where Villa Angelo (or much of anything else) is. Make sure you have their full name and address written on a piece of paper when you walk out of the airport to get a cab, and carry it with you to show any other cab drivers. I can't stress this enough. My summation? Good value overall.
