The receptionist is very helpful and full of information about the area. The room is cleaned every day. The garden in the back is beautiful. There are restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops just outside the door. The people are very friendly. It is rated as one star but we have stayed in four star hotels that weren’t as good as this place

The entrance to this property is a bit old and underwhelming, but the hotel inside is very pleasant, the staff super caring and friendly, beautiful gardens. Very quiet to the back of the hotel. A nice little hotel, well positioned and reasonably priced. The room was a little shabby and the bathroom had a slightly stale smell but the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was simple but effective. There isn't much noise insulation, I was at the front of the building and there is a video arcade opposite that is open late and plays music but it was only slightly iriritating

For budget traveler , this place is a steal. Old world charm. Dated elements but strong renovations has been made to the rooms. Maybe the room that was given to me was the fault because I was given a room next to the stairs and can hear the conversation and foot steps of other guests.

Our trip to Porto was made more enjoyable by our stay at Hotel Estoril. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the accomodations were excellent. Wonderful front desk staff in this charming little hotel - set in the middle of a cobblestone street with small unique shops, bakeries, and little cafés. Within walking distance to downtown and the Luiz 1 bridge. The hotel is not fancy, or high end, but is inexpensive and perfect for anyone on a budget.

Although not a boutique hotel, Hotel Estoril has the amenities you need.with a homie feel. The room was cozy equipped with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and small balcony. I loved the location as i was able to walk everywhere. I walk to all the popular site l, into gaia. I was surprised to find out it's situated to popular night life. (Felt it was very quoet neighborhood) but as i got more comfortable and explored i discovered a whole other side of the neighborhood i did realize. Definitely would stay here again. Felt safe, comfortable and intergretated with locals. Had i stayed somewhere closer to the city certer i would have maunly just seen the other tourists.
