A nice holiday, but....
We were upgraded from a room to a suite, which obviously was great. So we had a positive first impression. The suite was nice and clean.
But...
When we needed help from the staff, we went to the reception. The receptionist was sitting with his feet on the table, and he didn't take them down, when we came in, or when we were talking. He was basically just rude and had an attitude signaling that we were wasting his time.
At the end of our stay, when we wanted to check out, there was noone in the reception, even though it was in the opening hours.
We called the 24-hour phone number to the staff, but noone answered. We asked the staff in the café next door, if they knew how to get in touch with the staff, and a helpful waiter called the hotel number on his phone. Still no answer.
We had to go, so the waiter offered us to take the key and hand it over to the hotel, when the staff was there.
If it weren't for the upgrade, we would have given a more negative review.
