This is an old building and probably has a pretty limited budget for upgrades. The staff was friendly and professional. The room we had was clean, the beds comfortable. We felt the room rate was fare and have stayed in hotels with higher rates that was not in any better condition. The patrons in the next room came in late and played their TV way too loud.
Tony, 3-night trip

Worst place ever
Room wasn't ready when we got there. Nasty, stank with roaches. No hot water. Unpleasant atmosphere.

Smoke odor, cigarette burns on tub, carpet dirty, no toilet paper in bathroom, needs upgrade & heavy cleaning. Cigarette butts in parking lot. Desk clerk friendly but disoriented.

Worst conditions I have ever seen in a motel room
Did not stay. After seeing the terrible condition, I took the key back and said we were not staying because the room was terrible.
There were big gaps in the room entrance door.( in the upper right side and the lower left side) This was an exterior door so the room was exposed to outside conditions. The gaps were large enough that mice could have walked right through.

There’s only one staff she runs the office , cleans the rooms and small maintenance Staffed the owner is aware but not going to fix anything!! Don’t stay here!! Sheriff cars there all the time!!

This property was in very poor condition even though advertized as newly renovated. The sink drained slowly, the faucet leaked on the floor, the curtains did not cover the window and could not be closed completely, one cloth chair was covered in pet hair (I think it was pet hair. There was no top sheet on bed. The carpet is the only thing I would say was fairly new. I think Expedia should inspect this property. Room 105

The place is total chaos. They are remodeling, they say. AC/HEATERS in front of every room outside. No hot water. Totally an unsafe site. Lady in office to to get a room to be ok, but we were afraid to stay there. We found another place to stay.

The place is a dump. Rating it a dump is being too kind. I didn’t even stay the night. I refuse to stay in such a place. I dropped the key in the box and left to find better accommodations.

The local sheriff pulled in behind us when we parked and encouraged us to find another hotel, if possible. Since we had prepaid via Expedia with no refund option, we elected to stay. The beds were clean, although the bedspreads had holes in them. There was a 2’x4’ section of the ceiling missing in the bathroom. The A/C worked well, plenty of hot water, and the TV worked well. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was quiet and had no incidence, but the manager encouraged us to leave nothing on our motorcycles. Probably would look for other accommodations if visiting the area again.

Needs a good scrubbing!
A picture is worth a thousand words. The moldy smell was overwhelming. The toilet had not been cleaned, it had urine dribbles all over it. I woke up to a roach on my bedroom slippers. That prompted me to see what else was under my bed…dirty, dusty, bottle caps. I couldn’t sleep so I turned on the tv. It worked well and had great selection of shows to watch but the cola or whatever that had been spewed all over it was too distracting. Having already cleaned the bathroom I was not about to clean the tv. I tried to sleep. I got maybe 3 hours sleep. The microwave and refrigerator were clean. The refrigerator was frozen up so it didn’t cool. The linens are not cleaned properly or they are just beyond getting clean. I get that it’s a budget motel. I love mom and pop motels but you have to focus on the cleanliness. From the reviews I read they are under new management and have been since 2016/17? They are still renovating rooms. The one I stayed in was their “best room.” The clerk was very nice. He was obviously exhausted and sleep deprived but kind and courteous when I told him I was checking out after one night. If I didn’t have microban in the car I would not have stayed. Also, the smoke smell in the lobby was heavy and off-putting for a non-smoker like me.
Moldy and mildewed shower curtain
Dirty shower
Taped draperies courtesy of me. The pins were missing and the drapes hung open on each end.
More tape…a chain on the door would have been nice.
