Great location for public transport, nice staff
Great location, just round corner from train, metro and bus stops.
Plenty of shops and eatiers close by.
Good breakfast selection and toiletries in reusable containers.
Doors were slamming by other guests, which is unfortunate, but overall quiet.

A convenient hotel to stay.
Hotel Gamma is far from the city center but at a convenient location, easy access to train, metro, tram and buses. The front desk staff are very nice and friendly. There is a luggage room for early arrival and after checkout which I think was nice. The room is clean. The breakfast was good enough. The only thing that turned me off was the shower. The shower room is tiny and the shower head was hardly useful. Few tiny little streams squeezed out from the shower head went to different directions so I can forget to wash the hair. The room walls are not soundproofing, all the noise from other rooms could be heard clearly.

Good but OPEN EYES especially AIRPORT TAXI SERVICE
The hotel is very nice for a three star hotel and served my needs well. Two out of three of the desk staff were excellent and one probably needs some customer service training--while he did his task well I felt his personal skills left a lot to be desired. Unfortuanetly, my stay is tainted by the Airport Taxi Service the hotel booked for me. The cost and I verified was 100 Eu to Malpensa I was a bit shocked but they said due to the hour of the morning 3:30 am and the distence 60 km. Still a steep cab fair but then the driver attempted to charge me an additional 20 EU for the fare...he backed off when I said I would call the hotel to verrify. Buyer BE AWARE!

Spotless, comfortable hotel
Very clean, comfortable hotel for the price. It was a short stay so I did not explore the local area but very close to the train station, which has pros and cons. Staff were very helpful and I was impressed how spotless all areas and room were.

Elio on reception was excellent, I found him to be very helpful and obliging.
The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade, especially the shower screen which was hard to open/close and had a very small gap to get in and out of the shower. The room was clean and adequate for the price I paid.

The staff on reception are extremely friendly and helpful. The cleaners do a great job.. Location is also great, 2 min walk from Lambrette station which is one of the stops on the "Green line" which connects to most of the major stations (Duomo, Loreto). The buffet breakfast was also decent.
The downsides, the hotel is right next to the station where over head trains run from early in the morning till late at night. The rooms don't have double glazing, so the sound can be quite loud and disturbing especially if you're a light sleeper. The hotel can't provide irons, so you'll have to use their laundry service or bring your own? The toilets and shower in the single rooms are quite small. AC doesn't work.
In general though, the hotel is great value for money. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend break on a relatively low price point, then I would definitely recommend it.

Good value with easy access to transit
The hotel is very close to the train and metro providing easy access to the city but is about an hour's walk from the historic area. Room was clean and comfortable but the hotel overall was fairly basic. Elevator was tiny (one person with luggage, maybe 2 people without) but not abnormal for Europe. Overall, I felt ti was good value for simple accommodation.

Below average but just convenient.
Other than the location being near my meeting, the hotel is below average. Rooms are dark, and small. Hot water is inconsistent and takes about 5 mins to get warm. Unfortunately there is no good restaurant around so be ready to travel near the city center for a decent place. Luckily there is a metro station nearby.

Hard not to go back
Easy to get to/from airport using train and underground. Staff is always great. Breakfast has everything you could want. Price is very good and is close to CEI and CESI. Negatives are size of rooms and especially bathroom. Hard to take a shower without turning water off. Had some difficulty regulating room temperature. Wi-Fi is unreliable when hotel is at full occupancy.

Transport and local prices is fantastic!
Ok, this is the deal with this Hotel. First the good: it only takes about 45 seconds to get to the Met/ tram or train to get virtually anywhere. It's in a residential area so local food and drinks are cheap. Good wifi. And Very helpful staff. Room was clean with small balcony. Breakfast was good and decent variety. Now, not so good. All the buildings are covered in graphity making it feel like a rough area. The room was small and tv was not good. The shower was the smallest Ive ever been in making it uncomfortable. I certainly didn't feel safe when walking in the dark even though no one bothered me. It's not the kind of place a single woman should be walking around at night. If you want a place that's clean and your just want to go to the City then it's fine. Just don't go walking around at night in the area.
